Maritime museum
The Maritime museum is at “San Martín de Bajamar”(Santander, Cantabria, Spain) near to the “beach of the dangers”.

INSIDE THE MUSEUM
When you enter to the museum, the first thing you see it´s a very big skeleton of a whale. Next you can see some aquariums with many colourful fish.
Let´s feed that animals, please.
They’re very skinny!!!
FAUNA
This museum has got many aquatic animals, like:
-Sharks, turtles, sardines, sea basses, blowfish,etc...
This is a blowfish and under it, there´s a manta ray.
INTERESTING THINGS ABOUT THE MUSEUM
The biggest squid
Sardine with two heads
It´s more than 4 metres and It weights more than 1000 kilograms. It´s from Japan but we put it into the work because it´s about aquatic animals, like this giant squid. Please, enjoy it!

There was a time...
There was a time that the museum was closed. A new museum was inaugurated in September 2010 , to its current location in Eastern Market
where the permanent exhibition was opened in 2013.
What’s inside?
There are collecting collections are of great importance.
In this museum you can meet the
origins of the old villages and see how they lived.
They have got more than 2600 objects.
