WHAT IS THE EFFECT OF THE MUSIC?

People who like music say it has an effect to them when

they hear it. It affects respiration, the heartbeat, pulse rate,

and blood pressure. Music can reduce muscle tension and

improve body movement and coordination.

It affects the body temperature and regulates stress –

related hormones. Music does not only affect body, but it can

affect the emotion. Sometimes it can produce happiness or

sadness. It will depend on what kind of music people hear

and what they are feeling when they listen to a song.

Nowadays, this art has had an evolution and many

styles are included in it. We can find styles such as: Jazz,

Bosanova, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, blues. But now, other styles

are implied, we have: salsa, merengue and reggeaton.

It has let people choose what kind of music they can

hear. There has been many ways of listening and it has

helped everyone have knowledge about music and the

advantages and disadvantages it has.

MUSIC EFFECT AND PEOPLE

Definitely, music has a great effect in people, and it has

made it be beneficial or not. People who has troubles start

listening music, maybe it will help them feel better, but there

are the words that those songs have, many times those

words do not help them, but they make men or women feel

worse, and they start crying, feeling the worst people in the

world and that is why some girls and boys do not like

listening to music.

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

the guitar, the bass, the drum, a keyboard,

the flute, saxophone, congas, and many

other instruments around the world.

The creation, performance, significance, and even the

definition of music vary according to culture and social

context. Music ranges from strictly organized compositions

(and their recreation in performance), through improvisational

music to aleatoric forms. Music can be divided into genres and

subgenres, although the dividing lines and relationships

between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to

individual interpretation, and occasionally controversial.

Within "the arts", music may be classified as a performing art,

a fine art, and auditory art. There is also a strong connection

between music and mathematics.

MUSIC AS A THERAPY

Music therapy is an interpersonal process in which the

therapist uses music and all of its facets—physical,

emotional, mental, social, aesthetic, and spiritual—to help

clients to improve or maintain their health. In some

instances, the client's needs are addressed directly through

music; in others they are addressed through the

relationships that develop between the client and therapist.

Music therapy is used with individuals

of all ages and with a variety of

conditions, including: psychiatric

disorders, medical problems, physical

handicaps, sensory impairments,

developmental disabilities, substance

abuse, communication disorders,

interpersonal problems, and aging. It is

also used to: improve learning, build

self-esteem, reduce stress, support

physical exercise, and facilitate a host of

other health-related activities.
