This is an initial flat plan for my music magazine, ‘Renegade’. I plan to feature a photo shoot similar to this, although I may incorporate all five members of the band I plan to interview.

I have tried to incorporate some of the bands indicated to be favourites from my questionnaire, as well as details of the established metal music festival, Download.

I am still working on my masthead, although I like the font I chose to do this particular flat plan with, as it is reminiscent of metal and glam metal logos, such at Motley Crue and Motorhead. I also think it stands out well, especially when it is printed in a colour such as red, with a stroke surrounding it.

In this case, the photography is not my own, but I plan on representing the aesthetics of this cover in the production of my music magazine, focusing particularly on the placement of the cover lines and masthead in relation to the main image.
