From completing my questionnaire I have gathered different information which will help me to create my magazine.

How old are you?

I interviewed 6 people who were under the age of 20, 4 who were between 21 and 25 and 3 people who were 30+. The interviewed more younger people as they are I feel are the more likely people to buy a music magazine as the older the people I interviewed they new less about the artists displayed on the questionnaire.

The most popular colour scheme picked was the Black/Grey/White choice. I also agree with this as I think that the Indie genre is quite chilled and laid back and not to much in your face but unique enough to stand out so I think that by using the colour scheme and maybe adding small amounts of colour will be ideal for my magazine.

The majority of the people I interviews said they would be willing to pay between £2-3 pounds. I have priced my magazine at the higher end of this bracket at £2.99 which I think is a fair price and is backed up by people saying they would actually pay this price for a music magazine.

The sort of feature articles people are interested in haven't got much between them. Festival updates, exclusive news, and interviews are the most popular choices picked with one 1 person picking the quiz choice. Due to this magazine being a music magazine when paying £2.99 you expect to have as much music information within it. I think this is why less people are interested in the quiz choice as they would buy a different magazine if they wanted this choice mainly in it.

The mostly associated choice with the Indie genre people thought Smoke/Drink/Drugs. Due to watching music videos and listening to indie artist lyrics I also think that this is a main choice associated with the indie genre although I think there is a lot more to it as it levels out then to Unique, long hair, chilled and rock music also being picked meaning that the main thought towards the Indie genre isn't just smoking, drink and drugs.

The results for this question are quite close but The 1975 was most popular. I think this is because they are on the radio a lot and have had to good catchy songs out recently which people who aren't necessarily interested in the indie genre have enjoyed listening to. The recent songs they have released have been quite happy and bouncy rhythms with light hearted lryics which makes people prefer to listen to

The Lumineers were the most popular choice for the main image on my font cover of my magazine. Most recently they have had a song out which was happy and bouncy and catchy which I think got them a lot of repagination which is why I think it has been chosen

The more popular option was option 1 which was a larger Picture and less text. I think this is because people enjoy reading short pieces of writing and looking at more bigger more interesting pictures.
