This is a slideshow of how I made my magazine, showing each step of production.

Here are some of my ideas for my music magazine.

Here are a few fonts that I liked as they match my modern, fresh house style. They are also quite bold making them stand out and grab the reader’s attentions. My favourite one has to be the California font as it is fresh and reminds me of being abroad because of the palm tree effect. This links to my magazine house style because it is all about clubbing and loud music, which happens in a lot of gigs and raves abroad.

and hobbies of my target audience for my music magazine. This is what my magazine will include.

For my layout, I want it to be mainly pictures with little writing, as pictures attract the audiences attention whereas if there is a lot to read then they will be put off as its boring.

I like the way they have used a large image across the DPS, as it attracts the readers attentions as it is large and relevant to the article.

Some of the text will be in front of the main image in the background.

The text will be of a decent size that is readable but not to large.

My DPS will also consist of lots of little images as well as the main image as this is more interesting than lots of text.

The title will be in the top left hand corner on a slant.

My layout will also be question and answer as it is straight forward and easier to read.

The interview will be short, straight to the point answers, as lots of text is very off-putting and boring to read.

I will ask relevant and interesting questions.

The language will be relaxed and interesting, not too serious as that makes it more appealing to my target audience of young females.

I will keep the paragraphs short and include interesting facts in small speech bubbles around the text, making you want to read on.

My music magazine is all about partying, loud music, clubbing, fashion, socialising and having fun with friends. This will appeal to my target audience of young females ages 15-20 as they are young and energetic and just want to have fun. Young females are into music and socialising which is what this magazine is all about. The USP of my magazine is the partying/ social life that the magazine gives. The tone and register is upbeat and energetic with lots of bright colours and bold fonts that shout out to the reader.
