Artist Permission

Artist Amarachi Is a young male singer song writer originated from Portugal and brought up from the roots of East London. Amarachi is a diverse artist but wants to extend in the music genres; grime, rap and pop and believes that he is an inspiration to the young people around him. Amarachi’s real name is Marco Lewis but uses the name Amarachi as his auto ego singing name. Amarachi is signed by an non funded label called E&R Recordings which helps young people develop their dreams and aspirations.

My artists Identity will be simple to make him more appealing to young people so they feel like they can relate to him.

My artists representation would be beige chino’s, snap back and a plain white t-shirt. I have chosen this outfit so he looks ordinary.

My Idea!

Narrative My main idea is to make my music video narrative, I have taken influences from the video Yo Side of the bed By Trey Songz because in his video there is a build up. Throughout the song he says your side of the bed and how he misses her and the audience do not understand why he sings this until at the end it reveals that she died. I want to make my music video like this because it is very engaging.

Storyline My storyline is about a boy cheating on his girlfriend and the boy is going to be the artist himself and throughout the video you will see him meeting up with various girls but saying his girlfriend is his main girl. I am using the same kind of affect that Trey Songz uses, I am going to film an argument before the lyrics come in but the viewer will not hear what they are arguing about they will just see the artist arguing with his girlfriend then you will see a re-wind as if the argument never happened then throughout the video you will see why they were arguing and at the end you will see that same argument and will see that she knew he was cheating and so she left him.

INTRODUCTION! Why? What? Where?

Where will I record the scene? Most of it will be recorded in a park called Thames barrier, it will also be

recorded in a bedroom and possibly if I can get permission to record in a

restaurant when he goes on dates with other girls.

My Idea’s Interpretive, Stop Animation, Rewind

Stop Animation I want to use this affect like you see it in the music video just the way you are by Bruno Mars. I want the artist to write ‘your my main girl’ just like how Bruno Mars did it but writing it as a text to his girlfriend. So I want to use the concept of seeing something written but instead of how Bruno Bars Done it I want it shown through a text message.

Re-wind/Fast Forward I want to use this technique like shown

on the music video ‘we found love’ by Rihanna because I want there to be a

point in the video were it is just focussed on the couple and it almost

seems crazy because they are so in love but yet his cheating on her and this kind of edit kind of sums up the artists(boy) mind about all the girls his been with.

My concept of this edit will be in a park of the couple hugging which will show

their relationship could be tearing down.

Idea’s Interpretative

My other main idea is to incorporate the conventions style Interpretative in my video to make it more inventive.

Love Note: The shot I will use for this will be close up shot

Looking Up to the sky. I will shoot this from a low angle.

Over the shoulder angle shot of her smiling when the lyrics are nice smile.

Putting His arm over her and this will be a mid-shot

Overhead will be a clip of me speaking in more detail about each interpretation

Location! Why? Where?

My first location and my main location is going to be at Thames barrier. Thames barrier is located in East London and is near canning town.

The other location I have chosen is my bedroom, I will be using this as the artists girlfriends bedroom where you will see them as a happy couple. I have chosen this location because it will be an easy option for when filming.

My Cast! The Player/Main Man: The Artist Amarachi.

I have chosen the artist to be the player because he knows the lyrics already which will

make it easier for when filming.

The girlfriend: India I chose India because she is young and close friend of mine which will make it easier to contact her for filming.

Female(Girl he cheats with): Nicole I have chosen her because she is not shy

of the camera and has experience and also she is a dancer which I would like to

include in the video.

Female(girl he cheats with: Rhianne I have chosen has as another girl because she is very sporty like the artist which could be the link they have.

Equipment

I will be using a tripod vel-flo PH 358 mini pro. I will be using this to get a steady panelling technique

I will also be using a Panasonic HDC-H5300 recorder. I will be using this to record the entire music video.

I will also be using two 3gb memory cards for the

recorder
