Singing in The Rain- Sung by Gene Kelly (1952) This was a musical based film released in the year 1952. Starring Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O'Conner and directed by Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen. The genre of this music is comedy. Gene Kelly plays a man called Don Lockward who works in silent film and whose main talents are being a dancer and singer. Therefore in the musical numbers of the film, the dancing had to be well done with the right type of choreography to suit the mood of the film and each setting for each song. One of the most notable songs being the song 'Singin' in the Rain' which was set up to be Don Lockward dancing in a rainy street setting a night, the song is joyful and that is also shown in the dancing that goes with it.
