OFMA sells donuts at all High School and Middle School band and choir concerts. OFMA needs volunteers for the band and choir concerts to help with donut sales. Each event needs 1 volunteer to pick up donuts and 2 volunteers for High School con-certs and 4 volunteers for Middle School concerts (split into 2 shifts).

There must be someone with the donuts during the con-certs. So if you are band parent, please consider volun-teering to sell donuts at the choir concerts. And if you are a choir parent, please consider volunteering to sell donuts at the band concerts How to Sign up to Volunteer: OFMA is utilizing Sign Up Genius as an easy way for volunteers to sign up. Instrumental Lessons Private lessons will be offered this year on flute, clarinet, saxophone, cornet, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, percus-sion, voice, and maybe, depending on the amount of interest, French horn, oboe and bassoon. (Availability of lessons will depend on the number of responses for each instrument.) This is an excellent opportunity to help your child enjoy band and choir more by being able to participate at a higher level than before. All students can greatly benefit from lessons. The ad-vanced player will gain a greater depth of understanding and solo performance while the less experienced player will get a

chance to practice the fundamentals they need. Fee is $14.00 for each once a week private lesson. Contact Mr. Feller at 440.427.6333 or [email protected] for more information or to setup lessons for your child.

Private Lessons are a great way to fast forward your child's progress. Lessons are taught one to one, dealing with just your child's skills. Here are some excellent area teachers:

Holiday Caroling & Flash-mobbing On Friday, December 12th OFHS band and choir students continued the annual tradition of holiday caroling in classes throughout the district. Various ensembles performed in each of

the district’s school buildings. The choir also sprang a flash mob on unsuspecting people at the Great Northern Mall food court. To see a photo gallery of the caroling, click here.
