Timelines and Videos

In many lessons, a powerful and natural implementation of real- time interactivity occurs in the use of timelines. Figures 7 and 8 come from a learning module on the history of US foreign policy. The student can click anywhere in the timeline to scroll forward or backward. Clicking the specific dates indicated displays additional material in a multimedia format.
