Muslim Association of Lehigh Valley Ramadan 1441 AH / 2020 AD The Muslim Association of Lehigh Valley, following the opinion of the Fiqh Council of North America and the Islamic Society of North America, will observe the start of Ramadan on Friday, April 24th, 2020 and Eid ul Fitr on Sunday, May 24th, 2020. Therefore, the First night of Taraweeh, In sha Allah, will be on Thursday night, April 23rd, 2020. Taraweeh prayers are suspended at mosque until further notice. Stay Home and be Safe. MALV Annual Fundraising Virtual Iftar will be on May 2nd 2020 and our target is to raise $150,000 towards mosque operation, imam expenses and for interfaith activities. We will be accepting Zakat-al-Fitr dur- ing the entire month of Ramadan and these funds will be distributed to the needy muslims in Lehigh Valley and beyond. The amount will be approxi- mately $10 / person and head of household is responsible for it.
