IMPORTANT Please review and follow additional maintenance instructions in your Owner's Manual. RE-ARMING INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANT: FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IN THE EXACT SEQUENCE BELOW. 1. Unpack or open the inflatable PFD so that the inflator is exposed (fig. 1). 2. Remove the cylinder/bayonet assembly by rotating counter- clockwise and then pull out. Discard the used cylinder/bayonet assembly. IF YOU HAVE AN MD2014 OR MD2015, YOU WILL NOT NEED THE BOBBIN. SKIP TO STEP 9. 9. Check the new cylinder/bayonet assembly to ensure the o-ring is in place and the sensor ring is attached (fig. 1) Ensure that the CO2 cylinder has not been pierced (fig. 3). Raise and hold, the lever into the inflator housing. For MD2016 and MD2017, the pull-cord should be situated in the groove (fig. 2). Install a new cylinder/bayonet assembly by engaging bayonet tabs in housing, pushing in then turning clockwise 1/8 turn to a full stop (fig. 2). WARNING: PFD WILL ONLY INFLATE IF CYLINDER IS TURNED TO A FULL STOP. 11. Examine the service indicator (fig. 1) and ensure it is GREEN. If the service indicator is red, the mechanism has been fired or is incorrectly fitted and the inflator requires service. Restart re-arming instructions. NOTE: THE SERVICE INDICATOR MUST BE GREEN BEFORE PROCEEDING. 12. Refold the Inflatable PFD (see the 'repacking' section of your owner's manual for detailed information). 5. vérifier le logement pour s’assurer qu’il est propre et sec. si nécessaire, rincer le gonfleur à l’eau douce pour enlever la saleté et le sel. laisser sécher avant de passer à l’étape 6.
6. Inspecter la bobine. si la bobine a été utilisée ou est endomma-gée, la remplacer! s’assurer que la nouvelle bobine est valide. Elle doit avoir été achetée au cours des trois (3) dernières années. si la date d’achat de la bobine est inconnue, vérifier la date imprimée sur la bobine et remplacer si elle date de plus de trois (3) ans.
7. IMPORTaNT : la bobine (jaune) doit être installée dans le lOGEMENT (**voir ill. 1), le côté blanc sur le dessus, en alignant les fentes sur la bobine avec les arêtes à l’intérieur du logement fileté. la bobine glissera facilement si elle est installée correctement.
8. Poser le capuchon en vissant dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce qu’il touche l’épaulement du logement.
9. vérifier le nouvel assemblage cartouche/baïonnette pour s’assurer que l’anneau en O soit bien en place et que l’anneau de détection soit attaché (ill. 1). s’assurer que la cartouche de CO2 n’a pas été perforée (ill. 3).

10. lever et tenir le levier dans le logement du gonfleur. Pour MD2016 et MD2017 seulement, la tirette doit se trouver dans la rainure (ill. 2). Installer un nouvel assemblage cartouche/baïonnette en insérant les languettes de la baïonnette dans le logement, en poussant et puis en tournant 1/8 tour dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre, jusqu’à l’arrêt complet (ill. 2).

11.
