Where Are We?My Aerial Home is located at Bell Green Retail
Park, Sydenham. Lower Sydenham Station is 0.5miles and Sydenham
Station is one mile away, with rail services to and from Charing
Cross, London Bridge and Cannon Street stations.
If youre coming by road, Bell Green Retail Park is off the A212,
adjacent to a Sainsburys superstore and the Bell Green Retail Park,
and approx 6 miles from Central London.

About Us MAH has a team of dedicated freelance training talent,
all of whom share and support the aims and
ambitions of MAH and its clients.
About My Aerial Home ...My Aerial Home (MAH) is a friendly and
inclusive aerial training space, founded in 2009. Located in
Sydenham, south east London, My Aerial Home welcomes anyone wishing
to experience aerial dance and circus - whether for fun and fitness
or for career development.
Our ethos, based in nurturing talent in a safe and friendly
environment, offers top-class training, which allows the
professional to reach performance level as efficiently as possible,
and the hobbyist to build confidence, aerial skills and maybe even
discover their own inner performer!
My Aerial Homes motto is Beauty through Strength.

About Our Home ...My Aerial Home recently moved to its own
dedicated training space somewhere it is pleased to call home.
At over 4000 square feet the space is able to accommodate
regular classes, practice time and offer training space for aerial
professionals and
visiting companies.
The space also offers changing area, shower, a kitchen for the
use of hirers of the venue, dance/yoga studio and a safe, warm and
welcoming environment
for all users.

Acrobalance Hand and partner balancing, a fun and challenging
way of developing trust and teamwork.
Contortion Extreme stretching will extend and enhance
flexibility.
Practice time Regular weekly practice time sessions enable MAH
students and approved practitioners to hone their skills. MAH
students are eligible for discounts on practice time fees.
Non-students must be assessed as competent by a MAH coach.
Our Classes MAH runs over 20 Classes each week; whether an
absolute beginner or a professional performer we have an aerial
class for you.
Regular Weekly ClassesStatic Trapeze Learn moves around a single
trapeze bar, and develop strength, balance and artistic
creativity.
Aerial Hoop (Circeau) Create striking shapes and poses on a
suspended hoop, building strength and stretching your artistic
muscles.
Silks (Tissu) Learn the skill and control necessary to present
beautiful poses whilst wrapped in the vertically, suspended
fabric.
Rope (Corde Lisse) Learn aerial acrobatics, drops and locks, on
and around a vertically suspended rope.
Tryout SessionsInterested, but not sure whether aerials for you?
Come along to a tryout session and try before you buy.
Private SessionsOne-to-One and small group sessions, available
in thirty-minute increments and by prior arrangement.
Special coursesIn addition to regular weekly courses, MAH offers
ad hoc courses in other circus disciplines:
Tight wire Learn to balance, walk, sit and lie along a tensioned
metal wire with grace and ease.
Spanish Web Enjoy the thrill of being suspended by a foot or
wrist from a rope whilst being spun in an arc.
Silk Sling A suspended loop of fabric, combining fluidity and
support to enable a diversity of movement and shape.
Intensive Courses MAH has enjoyed great success with its diverse
range of intensive courses, from weekend workshops to week-long
courses where participants can expand existing skills and learn new
ones. Previous courses have included modules in Wall Walking and
Harness Work.
Artistic Creation One to one classes are available to help
performers develop their act in a friendly and inclusive
environment.
A taste of courses coming up in 2015 Dancers Intensive Courses -
Air and Fire (Limited places). For professional dancers, this week
long course is geared towards gaining commercial work in aerial
skills (Air) or circus skills for cabaret (Fire).
Spring Intensive (2 Days) Participants select their own
programme from a menu of workshops for a fixed cost.
Creating Circus (5 days) An opportunity to hone skills and
develop an act through classes, creative workshops and play. Aerial
experience is required.
Rigging Course (2 days) An introduction to Aerial Rigging for
aerialists and those who work with them.
Teacher Training for Aerial Coaches with Serenity Smith Forchion
