Architecture expresses the best of human being, space and nature. Architectures are the designs which perform some desired purpose and function; while importantly integrated with our nature harmoniously and aesthetically. They ultimately provide us healthy environments and functional space that light our eyes up and fulfill our dreams.

Dai Pai Dong ~ 大牌檔
Dai Pai Dong is a type of outdoor restaurant which originated in HK since the 18th century. They are charaterised by the use of folding tables and chairs on the street. They earned their reputation by serving unbeatable prices for noodles, rice, congee dishes. Most of the restaurant started as an unlicensed business on the sidewalk near schools and residential areas, and slowly developed their business into fine restaurants.

This is the Living room interior design I chose for my Computer aid design class midterm. It includes the idea of a continuous shelf from the television extending all the way around the back of sofa for electronic appliance and or other decorative items. It also includes a balcony with a nice evening view and an elevated dinning area.

The cafe and theatre design is based on abstracting Pablo Picasso's Ma Jolie. Dividing the Ma Jolie into 25 rectangles and my favorite pieces will be recreated into sketches and sculptural model by applying a simple architectural program.

I created this potrait chair based on Gandhi's personal character. He led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. The initial sketches look like a hand, which characterizes Gandhi's strength, leadership, and courage.

In 1995 the Fillmore district of San Francisco was declared the Jazz District, which is bounded by Turk, Golden Gate, Fillmore and Webster Street. In the old days, this area was a historic MUNI substation. Today, the district is still part of a redevelopment area.
This design explores the aspects of historic conservation, while adapt¬ing community functions and space for Jazz Art and Theatre.
