Nova Scotia Canada’s Ocean Playground
Nova Scotia is a haven for wildlife, and in summer it’s where many species of whales and dolphins migrate. And let’s not forget the tides; the Majestic Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world, each day 100 billion tonnes of seawater flow in and out of the Bay of Fundy during one tide cycle more than the combined flow of the world’s freshwater rivers! But Nova Scotia is more than just spectacular scenery, the bounty of the land and ocean keep great traditional cuisine alive, and inspire new contemporary tastes. From a beach-side lobster boil to vineyard tours, you can experience a true taste of Nova Scotia, and in 2012 the winery
association of Nova Scotia launched their appellation wine Tidal Bay: The wine is made from 100% Nova Scotia grown grapes and is an off-dry still white wine, a perfect complement to the wonderful seafood harvested from the waters around the province.
The music of Nova Scotia is a vibrant and eclectic mix that has been defined by the spirit of the people; from the ancient beat of the Mi’kmag drum to the foot tapping rhythms of the Celtic & Acadian fiddle, and cool Jazz and Blues, once there you cannot escape the effect that Nova Scotia will have on your soul.
Located on the East-Coast of Canada, Nova Scotia is truly a travellers dream, with 4,600 miles of coastline, majestic seascapes, beautiful bays, mirror-still coves, and more than 100 breath-taking beaches.

Halifax Metro
Halifax has so much to offer, a remarkably beautiful harbour, major concerts in Canada’s oldest urban park, Buskers festivals, food festivals, Canada’s oldest farmers market and picnicking in a park that the Queen rents to the province for a shilling a year.
Halifax has been the happening capital of the east coast since the British first settled here in 1749. The atmosphere in the city has been described as urban cool wrapped up in the easy smile of a warm maritime welcome. This little gem of a city has so much to see and do, from the Citadel shaped fortress that overlooks the harbour to Pier 21 (Canada’s Ellis Island) from the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia to the Maritime
Museum of the Atlantic, where many artefacts from the Titanic are exhibited, and when the sun goes down the city sparks into life with the sound of live music in many of the bars and restaurants dotted along the harbour front.
Halifax, the gateway to Atlantic Canada, is an ideal urban resort – twenty minutes from the downtown core, you can stroll white sandy beaches or surf pristine waters.
