• PYLP Learning Center: On average, students improve by as much as one whole grade level throughout the academic year.

• PYLP Sports League: We successfully completed three different leagues (basketball, soccer, and baseball) for boys and girls ages 4-15 years old.

• In 2012, PLAN started two new programs to serve the community – a GED program and the Power in Dirt initiative.

So, What’s Power in Dirt?• Power in Dirt is a PLAN effort which seeks to restore God’s communities,

by doing justice and loving mercy in Pen Lucy – literally, from the ground up!Power in Dirt partners with the City, other non-profits, and local residents, to

beautify vacant properties in Pen Lucy.
