The spacious salon of this yacht was designed with the

perfect cruise in mind, long and comfortable sofa, flat screen

TV, separated dining area as well as state of the art audio-

visual equipment throughout. Sands accommodates up to 9

guests in 4 luxurious and comfortable cabins; 1 double

Master cabin 1 double VIP cabin and 2 twins cabin with 1

pullman bed in one of the twin cabin. All with en-suite

facilities.

Chef Gianluca Armonico, Italian, 44 y.o. Gianluca has been working with Captain Gualberto on Sands since the very beginning in 2003. He started his career in ’95 as a cook/deckhand on several Motor Yachts, such as KITALPHA and SPIZZ 4, always keeping on improving his competence with several training qualifications. Gianluca is passionate about cooking, His passion is reflected in his ability to customize menus to suit his guest’s every need and desire. He is proficient in a wide variety of dishes and is particularly fond of Mediterranean healthy cuisine. He speaks Italian and English. Deckhand Gaetano Tortorella, Italian, 26 y.o. Gaetano attended the Nautical Institute in Torre del Greco (NA), and took the Deck Officer Cadet qualification in 2009. Soon after his studies, he started to work on board several vessels, in particular LPG Tanker and Cargos and he cruised both Ocean and Mediterranean waters. His passion for the sea and for the ship life has taken him, then, to move to the charter industry. Used to the hard work, he is a very responsible person. Dynamic, helpful and friendly, Gaetano is a master of hospitality always looking after his guests to the best of his abilities. Moreover, thanks to his past experience in the Catering Industry, he is an excellent waiter, responsible for cleanliness and dining service. Native Italian, he speaks school English.

Captain Gualberto Passaglia, Italian, 57 y.o.

Gualberto personally supervised the building of Sands at Maiora Shipyards and is her Captain since her first charter in 2003. Highly professional and very talented Gualberto has a sounding knowledge of marine motors and a number of professional certifications. After performing the military service in the Coastguard in 1984 entered the yachting business, working on a number of yachts. During his cooperation with Maiora Shipyards he made transfer all over the Mediterranean sea and the Pacific Ocean. Gualberto is a very, very nice person, discreet but very keen about his work, always able to grant the best atmosphere to his guests. He is a very good diver and is PADI open water qualified diver.
