About us

We at M+Y believe in recreating the aura of traditional local fabric,weaving it into a fashion statement, promoting, thereby the Indian handlooms and handcrafted designs.

We are a textile design couple, graduates of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India. Over the past decade, we have experimented in myriad craft and art techniques and have exhibited our work internationally.

Our fabrics meet the global challenge as we carry forward the multi ethnic trends, celebrating the cultural diversity and the depth of the Indian dream-weave, while contemporizing the Indian craft.

M+Y aims at making handcrafted sarees and niche fabric that range from boardroom wear to everyday wear making a statement wherever it is worn. Natural colours are used extensively throughout m+y products leaving no stone unturned in draping with pure and unsullied apparel. M+Y creates “craft interpretation” - craft moved on through a time tunnel……
