-Supervise the extraction of metallic or non-metallic minerals and ores from underground or surface mines.

-Plan, design, organize and supervise the making of mines.

-Safely and efficiently move mining deposits.

-Design shafts, ventilation systems, mine services, haulage systems and supporting structures.

-Takes four years to complete and includes some clinical experience.
