This July was equally a glorious one at SSU. The expansive dome of our quarry auditorium was once again lit up to welcome a fresh wave of bright young minds from different parts of the country, eager to Learn, Lead, Serve. While the Eighth Commencement Day set the tone, the Convocations and the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony raised the bar.

This was also the quarter in which the Campus was blessed with Gurudev’s presence for the longest duration in all these years. With its Foundation Stone now laid, the much-awaited Ayurveda Hospital and College is all set to change the landscape of health education and medical care in the country.

All the Faculty Members got the unique opportunity of interacting with Poojya Gurudev during ‘Manthan 2.0’ and also set their goals for the academic year through Gurudev’s mentorship.

The subsequent months were indeed hectic as events continued with a greater pace. Thus, the need for students’ participation in the newsletter was also felt and it was great to have a team of students from the Department of English and Foreign Languages providing editorial support for this issue. I hope you will find this issue no less interesting than the previous ones.

17-19 July 2019 An Orientation Program was held at the Faculty of Architecture for the 1st Semester students in which all the staff and faculties were formally introduced to the students.
