Fun was a vital part of Annual Conference. Steve Lohoeffer’s antics brought smiles to everyone when two delegates were asked to wear basketball goals on their heads and make as many baskets as possible with foam basketballs.
Bishop Michael McKee and wife Joan McKee receive a gift of appreciation for their service to the Annual Conference from the Episcopacy Committee. The committee members include, Linda Parks, Don Underwood, Rachel Baughman, Clara Reed, Liz Talbert, Chris Dowd and Rob Spencer.

Rev. Cammy Gaston, Metro District Superintendent, and Bishop McKee welcome Agape Memorial United Methodist Church (pastor Juan Osario), known for its service to the community, and Casa Emanu-El (pastor Ella Luna), a truly multi-cultural and bilingual community, to the North Texas Annual Conference. Both churches, formerly of the Rio Grande Conference, bring with them a rich history of living out the Wesleyan Way.

The Harry Denman Evangelism Youth Award was given to Brooke Foster, a member of Prosper UMC. She served as the North Central District Youth Lay Leader and a CCYM member. Brooke organized many youth events including mission days that led to building and installing libraries for the Daraja Refugee Ministry. Brooke is headed to Lipscomb University in the fall to pursue degrees in Social Work and Religion. She plans to seek ordination as a deacon in the UMC. Celebrating with her is Rev. Aleze Fulbright.
