The ECAHO class A show was held in Dubai from March 19th to 21st, with its load of expectations, ap-prehension, confi rmations and the enticing rich prizes that have reached a total of $ 4,000,000. In just a few years, this show has literally grabbed the atten-tion of all the sector professionals. Perfectly organized,
this event managed to move up one category, going from category B to A, and obtained the coveted de-nomination of title show from as early as 2010, the highest recognition the ECAHO can give to an event. was the role carried out by Mr. , Mr. Qu-say Obaidalla, the omnipresent and very frien-
dly General Manager of the show, Mr. Adel Saeed Al Falasi, the coordinator, Mrs. Jenny Malton, the Secretary who managed to deal with a considerable workload and Mr. Sanjeewa Deegahawatura as her assistant. Event consultants were Mrs. and . Seven judges alternated in the scoring of the numerous categories. They did an excellent job and their scores were almost always unanimous. The judges were: Dr. Gian-marco Aragno (IT), Mr. Doug Dahmen (USA) Mrs. Titti Gagliani (IT), Mrs. Joanne Lowe (UK), Mrs. Ann Norden (SW), Mr. Richard Pihlstrom (FR) and Dr. Francesco Santoro (IT). According to the scoring method adopted, which had already been tested in Abu Dhabi, the lowest and the highest scores awarded during the catego-ries were eliminated by the six judges on the ring. Once again, we thought it was an excellent method, which sa-tisfi ed both professionals and spectators.Those who love the Arabian horse can no longer abstain from taking part in this event, which every year attracts an impressive number of conformation horses of very high quality, a feast for the eyes and a spectacle for the heart. So much grace, beauty and charm on the same ring is hard to fi nd anywhere else. But Dubai is not just about this.
Ridden competitions, endurance, races, everything revol-ves around our beloved Arabian, which is rewarding us with increasingly better results and higher quality, which results in a growing passion at every show.As already mentioned, there was an incredible number of entries – not to mention the quality – and so many cate-gories had to be split into section A and B.The fi rst one to be held was the category of female futu-rities, which was won by the lovely daughter of Marajj (x Nesj El Khidouna) *Fazaa Al Zobair, presented by Tom Schoukens and owned by Sh. Mohammed Abdulla Mohammed Al Thani (UAE). Second was the beauti-ful daughter of Royal Colours (x Muranas Je T’Aime), *D Deemah of the Dubai Arabian Horse Stud (UAE), presented by Paolo Capecci. Another podium for Sh. Mo-hammed Abdulla Mohammed Al Thani (UAE) with the third place for the great daughter of Marajj, the beautiful *Bushra Al Zobair (x Bashayer Al Zobair), presented by Glenn Schoukens.The top step of the podium in the category of male futu-rity went to a son of Marajj (x My Silk Stocking), we are talking about *Atlas Al Zobair, presented by Tom Schoukens and owned by Sh.
