IntroductionOurheartsfindrestwiththeremembranceofAllahbyHisnames.Allahhas99namesandonenameisenoughtofillyourlifewiththeloveofAllah.TheheartistheplaceofloveandmagnificationofAllah.WeneedtoworshipAllahoutofloveandfeelings.Themainfeeling,weneedtohavewithAllahisloveandfearwithmagnification.Whenwedothisourheartiscontent.TherichnessoftheheartistobecontentwithAllah.WhenweknowAllah, it takesall thespace inourheart.Allah isgreatandevenhis love isgreat.ThereisaduatoaskAllahforHislove

1. Toknowthethingbyitselfi.e.toknowtherealityofthings(withoutanydoubt)2. Hewishesforsomethinggoodbutwhenthemeanscometohim,hedoesnottakeit.

Thehumanshaveknowledgeandinfacthumansaretheonlycreationgrantedtheblessingofknowledge.AllahcreatedAdamandtaughthim.Thehumansarecreatedtolearn.AllahtaughtAdamallthenamesofeverythingincludingthenameofangels.AdamhasalltheknowledgegiventohimbyAllah.AllahallowedtheknowledgetobediscoveredbytheoffspringofAdam.Whenthehumanslearnandtheyapplytheknowledgeitmakesthemhappy.ThebestknowledgeistheknowledgeofAllahandHisreligioni.e.knowledgeoftheunseen.

• IfweseekknowledgeofAllahandthereligion,AllahwillmakeeasythepathofJannahforsucha

person.

• Angelssurroundthestudycircleandmakesalaminordertoappreciatethepeopleofknowledge.

• AllahaskedtheanglesandiblistoprostratetoAdamafterhetaughtAdameverything.

• Weneedtheknowledgeoftheworld.Allahcreatedusandheguidedustothewordlyknowledgethatissuitableforus.Allahknowswhatissuitableforustolearn.

• Nopersoncanencompassalltheknowledge.Thehumanbeingiscreatedwithoutanyknowledge.

AllahistheOnetoteachus.ThefirststudentisAdamandthentheknowledgeistransferredtohisoffsprings.

• AnexampleofsomeonewhoisproudofhisknowledgeisQarunwhowasfromtheBanuIsrael.He

hasknowledgetocreatetreasures.Itrequired10peopletoholdjustthekeysofhistreasures.Hewasproudandhappyofhishimselfwhichleadtohisdestruction.TheknowledgeisfromAllahbutthepersonquicklyattributes tohimself.Oneshouldnotbeproudorarrogantofhisknowledgenorshouldonelookdownonanyonebecauseofknowledge.

• Thehumanforgetswhathelearnswithtime.E.g.storyofMusa.MusawasaddressingBaniIsrael

and they asked him is there anyone more knowledgeable than you? Musa said no. But Allahshowedhimthereissomeonemoreknowledgeablethanhim(Khizr).Musawastolearnfromhim.And this shows one should not be arrogant in seeking knowledge. Also that there is alwayssomeonewhohasmoreknowledgewhetheritisaboutDuniyaorDeen.

• All the above shows that the human being’s knowledge is imperfect. The knowledge of human

beingislimitedanditcanbeeffectedbytime.

KnowledgeofAllahAllahisthesourceofalltheknowledge.AlAleemisapraisedcharacter.Weloveandadmiretheonewhohasknowledge.ThereisnoboundaryforthenamesofAllah.WeneedtoknowaboutAllahAlAleemforourattachmenttoHim.HowweunderstandAllahisAlAleem?

1. Allah isAl-Aleem isHispersonal character.Theknowledge isnot separated fromHim.Allah isalwaysAlAleem.NoonetaughthimandthereisnosourceforHisknowledge.

2. Allahencompassesalltheknowledge.Allahknowseverything.ThisincludesalltheknowledgeofHiscreation.Foranyoneelse thebigger thekingdomthe less thekinghasknowledgeabouthisdominion.Allahknowseverysinglethinginhisdominion.Evenifaleavefalls,Allahknowsaboutit.Allahknowshowmanyfishesareintheocean.Allahknowsaboutasmallgraininthesand.

3. OurmindcannotencompassAllah.NovisioncangraspHimbutHegraspsallvision.Allahknows

the minute details about us. He encompasses us with all the knowledge. Allah will nevermisunderstand us. Allah knows about our feelings andHe knows about our pain. Allah knowswhatIneedbeforemytonguewillspeak.WhenwetellAllahallthatwefeelandneverwillAllahturnyoudown.Allahissufficientforus.Thisgivesussomuchcomfort.

4. Whenwedoagooddeed,thenwedon’tneedtotellpeopleaboutit.Itisenoughforthebeliever

thatifheisdoinggooddeedsthatAllahknowsaboutitandHewillrewardus.

5. Whenwesin,weshouldnotbeafraidof thepeoplebutweneed tobescared thatAllahknowsabout it. IneedtobescaredonlyofAllah. Ineedtohope forrewardonly fromHimandtobeafraidofHispunishment.WeneedtocautiousofAllah,AlAleem.Heknowsaboutmyproblems,mysinsandevenmythoughts.WeneedtobewatchingourheartasAllahknowsaboutit.Allahknowswhatiswithinusandevenwhatourself iswhisperingtoourselves.Allahknowsgeneralthingsaboutusandwhatisdeepinourheart.Heknowsourdeepestsecrets.OurutteranceandoursecretsarethesamewithAllah.NothingisdifficultforAllah.
