8 pcs of metal spatula were treated by different anticorrosion products which were bought in specialized retail stores. The samples were cleaned by ethanol, treated by the protective solution and left for 24 hours indoors. After that, they were placed outdoors, sprayed by salty water once a day. The salinity of water was made according to the Red Sea (42%o solution of NaCl).
