Consistent use of colour helps to strengthen the TEDCO brand and makes it instantly recognisable.
Printed Materials
All printed material should be visually matched to a Pantone Colour swatch to ensure that colour quality is correct.
These guidelines were produced using Pantone Colour Bridge swatches to ensure consistent colour across a range of printed materials. It is important for your printer to match the colours to a Pantone swatch. Please use the colour references shown.
Screen applications
For on-screen applications use the appropriate RGB or Hex value.
06. APPLYING THE TEDCO IDENTITY
Minimum size
The minimum size of the TEDCO brandmark is 35mm for the stacked version and 50mm for the stripe version. Below this size the brandmark loses its clarity and impact.
When creating large marketing materials please use the vector files supplied to maintain the quality and sharpness of the logo when scaled up.
Minimum size 50mm
Minimum size 35mm
Clear Space
To protect the strength and integrity of the brandmark, a clear space area, free of competing visual elements, should be maintained. Please leave a space which is equal to the height of the TEDCO block, as shown.
Placement
Always try to align the brandmark to the left edge of the page or screen within your design.

_space group brand identity
Complex phased rebrand and subsequent brand refreshes for _space group. Rebranding from a very traditional architecture practice “Waring and Netts Architects”, to _space group a multi disciplinary built environment design group, working across six sectors, with a mission statement to “make life better”. A bold, bright and very pink rebrand set the company apart from others in its industry and the new brand was successfully rolled out across all brand touch points.

A golfers’ paradise, the Close House golf course in Northumberland is one of the most challenging new courses to be built and required an appropriate club house to match. _space group worked on the project for two years, creating a 1,000m2 purpose built luxury golf clubhouse and new 6,540 yard championship 18 hole golf course, which was opened by then world number one golfer Lee Westwood.
Our team had to provide a solution that took into account a challenging site within grounds that comprise an area of designated green belt land, Grade II* listed Close House Mansion and are next to World Heritage Site, Hadrian’s Wall.
The result is an inspiring presence that was deliberately kept to a modest size, opening up vistas within the landscape and yet also be a contemporary, eye-catching composition which nods to Close House Mansion’s 18th century origins.

Community accessWe are aware that parents and other adults within the community also benefit from the facilities within schools being made more widely available. To that end we provide a variety of opportunities for parents and carers. Listed below are examples of courses offered to the wider community in the academic year 2011 - 2012. (The list is not exhaustive)
• Family learning “Keeping up with the children”
• Time to Talk
• Making Choices Level 1 (Training and childcare)
• Family values with SAFC
• Bringing Up Confident Children (Parentline Plus)
Parents/carers are informed on a termly basis of forthcoming courses.
School Travel PlanWe take seriously our responsibility to provide our pupils with the broadest possible education and consider that understanding the need to preserve natural resources, an awareness of road safety and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle is part of that education. The school is aware, through its travel plan, of the need to increase sustainable travel modes. We are exploring with the council the possibility of extending the cycle way recently created on West Way up to the school. A full copy of the School Travel Plan can be viewed on request.

Publication Scheme on information available under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
One of the aims of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 is that public authorities, including all maintained schools, should be clear and proactive about the information they will make public.
To do this we must produce a publication scheme, setting out:
• The classes of information which we publish or intend to publish.
• The manner in which the information will be published and;
• Whether the information is available free of charge or on payment.
The scheme covers information already published and information, which is to be published in the future. All information in our publication scheme is available in paper form. A full copy of our Publication Scheme is available free of charge from the school office. Some information that we hold may not be made public, for example personal information.
This publication scheme conforms to the model scheme for schools approved by the Information Commissioner.

Pupil Welfare and Discipline
We aim to create a welcoming, caring environment where relationships are based on respect and to develop a positive self-esteem in each child.
If there is a problem, parents are encouraged to come along to school to discuss it with the Home-School Liaison Officer, Class Teacher, Deputy Head or Head Teacher. Problems needing extended discussion may require a special appointment to be made so that Staff will be available to help. We expect sensible, responsible and considerate behaviour from every pupil.
The few rules we have are based on this expectation
• Behaving in a quiet, orderly manner, both in and around the building, so that no one is disturbed or distressed.
• Having a caring attitude towards fellow pupils, teachers, other adults, the building and its contents.
• Only playing agreed games in the playground, games that will not cause discomfort or damage.
Traffic light Behaviour SchemeA Traffic light chart is displayed in class, on which all of the pupils in the class are listed. Pupils start the day on green to recognise good behaviour, should there be an incident of misbehaviour their name is moved to amber. Persistent misbehaviour is signified by red. This will involve a member of the senior leadership team. All names are returned to green to start the next day.
The staff at Stanhope Primary School are committed to maintaining high expectations of good behaviour as an essential contribution to the educational experience of the children and to their happiness and well being while in school.

School Uniform
Stanhope Primary School has a clothing policy accepted and agreed to by the Governors of the school. The school is very keen that the pupils should associate different clothing for different occasions eg. tracksuits - sporting activities, leisure wear (jeans, multi-coloured clothing) for out of school activities, fashion wear - parties or special activities.
Below is a list of reasons why Stanhope Primary School encourages the wearing of recommended school clothing:
• to lessen the pressure on parents to allow their children to attend school wearing expensive, but unsuitable fashion wear.
• to avoid competition amongst the children particularly over “designer clothing” including tracksuits.
• to avoid children coming to school wearing uncomfortable clothing eg. tight skirts or jeans, or dangerous footwear (fashion shoes with high heels)
• to enhance the standing of the school within the community.
Please note:
• Allgarmentsincludingcoatsandshoesshouldbecarefullymarkedwiththeowner’sname.
• Each pupil should have a clearly named bag in which to keep or carry PE equipment.
• Each pupil should have a clearly named School Book Bag to carry reading books and homework materials.
• Jewellery must be kept to a minimum in the interest of safety. Only ear-rings of the stud type may be worn. No other forms of jewellery are allowed, however watches do not count as jewellery and we would actively encourage pupils to wear them.
• Watches and ear-rings, if worn, must be removed prior to PE, Games or Swimming. If ear-rings cannot be removed they must be covered by a first aid plaster supplied by the parent/carer.
We would ask for your support and co-operation in helping us to make Stanhope Primary School a smart, safe school.
School uniform can be purchased at “Little Gems”, Ocean Road, South Shields.

Stanhope’s Commitment
We at Stanhope Primary School are committed to providing a school where children, parents and staff are valued and where we give everyone the opportunity to feel good about their own achievements and the achievements of others, in an atmosphere of security, respect and confidence.
We will strive:
• To develop each child’s unique abilities and qualities in line with National Curriculum requirements;
• To encourage every adult working in our school to develop their skills;
• To forge trusting relationships with parents as co-educators of their children;
• To ensure that there is equality of opportunity regardless of sex, colour, culture or ability;
• To create a happy, orderly school where people are courteous to each other;
• To resource our school to a high standard;
• To support quality teaching and learning;
• To enhance our school building and environment so that we can be proud of where we work;
• To find time to meet everyone’s needs in appropriate ways;
• To care for everyone connected with our school as we would a large, supportive family;
• To build on the long, respected tradition of Stanhope school within the local community.

“I have worked with a variety of different designers over the past ten years, and I can sincerely say that Nat Glover is my favourite. Not only does she intuitively understand our briefs and deliver an end design that consistently exceeds our expectations - she is an absolute joy to work with.”
Marcie MacLellanManaging DirectorIncontext Communications
I have worked with Nat for a number of years and unreservedly provide this testimonial. Her professionalism and initiative, often with challenging deadlines, has engendered genuine team working with great success. Her quality of work is exemplary and, from a commercial point of view, essential to ‘getting the message across’. Natalie is enthusiastic and dedicated; it is a reflection of her character that she is so well-respected by designers and clients alike.
