As scientists we will be investigating materials including floating and sinking. We will also be looking into forces. As historians we will be studying the history of piracy including famous pirates. As geographers we will be using maps to investigate where pirates came from and where they operated. In Design & Technology we will be designing and making pirate ships. As artists we will be studying seascapes and creating pirate portraits. In Music we will be singing sea shanties and investigating music from the Caribbean. In ICT we will be exploring PowerPoint and creating our own about pirates. Later in the term we will be doing a pirate week which will include a visit from a real pirate!
