The United World Wrestling Americas (UWWA) assigned to Mexico
the organization and development of the 2018 Panamerican Championship School in the three styles of Olympic Wrestling; Women Wrestling, Freestyle and Grecorroman.
The competition will be held under the general regulations of the United World Wrestling (UWW) and under the organization and development of the Federación Medallistas de Luchas Asociadas (FEMELA) and the Instituto del Deporte de Tabasco (INDETAB) and will be developed in the city of Villahermosa, Tabasco, in Mexico.
PLACE AND DATE: The venue of the event will be Centro de Convenciones Tabasco
2000, located in Av. Planetario S/N, Colonia Los Ríos, Villahermosa, Tabasco. C.P. 86035.
The Panamerican Championship School will take place from
September 12 to 15, 2018 according to the competition program attached to this document.
PARTICIPATION: Participation in the Panamerican Championship School is open to all
countries affiliated with the UWW and the UWWA and belonging to the American Continent.
Each National Wrestling Federation of the American Continent may
participate with only one athlete per division of weight and style; including headquarters.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
CATEGORIES AND WEIGHTS: Schoolboy and Schoolgirl Category: Freestyle and Grecorroman: 34 – 38, 41, 44, 48, 52, 57, 62, 68, 75 y 85 Kg. Women Wrestling: 29 – 33, 36, 39, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58, 62 y 66 Kg.
INSCRIPTION: The numerical registration must be done no later than Friday, June 8,
2018. The nominal registration with names and surnames before Friday,
August 10, 2018. And the final registration must be done in the place assigned for the
event according to the competition program attached to this document.
REGULATIONS: The Panamerican Championship School 2018 will be held in
accordance with the current UWW regulations.

ARBITRATION: The participation of the refereeing body will depend on the number of
athletes per delegation, according to the UWW regulations.
AREAS OF WRESTLING: The competition will be carried out on two properly regulated fighting
mattresses.
MEDICAL CHECK:
The athletes of each style and division of weight must undergo a medical examination according to the general program of competition in the place assigned for that purpose.
AWARD: Medal (gold, silver and bronze) will be awarded to the first three
places of each weight division. In addition, the three best teams will be awarded for style and
general.
COSTS: Each national federation must pay the amount of 70 USD (seventy
00/100 US dollars) per participant per day; payment will be made at the time of accreditation, according to the UWW regulations. Each participant must cover at least 4 days. This fee includes the lodging service, food, internal transfers and registration to the event.

LODGING AND FOOD: The athletes, coaches, referees and delegates stay and eat at the
Hotel Olmeca Plaza located at Madero Street # 418. Colonia Centro, Villahermosa, Tabasco.
TRANSFER: The reception of the delegations will be at the Villahermosa
International Airport "Carlos Rovirosa Pérez". And they will be provided internal transfer airport - hotel - venue of the
event - hotel - airport. In order to guarantee reception at the airport it is important to send
the flight itineraries no later than Friday, August 31, 2018.
