This is in continuation to training program on creating of project specific websites forall PPP under implementation projects and entering of project information in PMISconducted at Bangalore on 5th
, 6th and th June 2014. While imparting training,informationon most of the projects under the jurisdiction of RO-Karnataka have been created / uploadedon website. Chairman, NHAI while reviewing the status on uploading noted that for some ofthe projects the information has not been updated fully particularly pertaining to court cases,correspondence between IE and Concessionaire etc. and delay in hosting of project specificwebsites and uploading the data has been viewed seriously and issued instructions toupdate data by 15/7/2014. Further, to monitor updating of data an institutional mechanismhas been set up. The details on same are available in HO letter referred above.
All PIUs are requested to take the matter seriously and to complete the activity ofupdating the data by zs" of every month and to ensure that the data has been updatedregularly by IE/Concessionaires,

Dear All,
In my D.O. letter dated 29th April, 2014 addressed to you with copy to all PDsand Independent Engineers, instructions were given for creating Project Specificwebsites for all PPP under implementation Projects. Further to this, similarinstructions were also issued for projects under O&M. Format and Guidelines forcreating websites were also hosted on the NHAI website.
2. On review of the status on 02.07.2014, it is seen that 137 project specificwebsites have been created and balance 76 project specific websites are still to behosted [list attached]. It is also seen that in some of the created web sites, data hasnot been fully uploaded/up-to-date, particularly pertaining to court cases,correspondence between IE and Concessionaire etc. Delay in hosting of projectspecific websites and uploading the data has been viewed verj seriously and allconcerned are directed to ensure that by 15.07.2014 websites for all projects arecreated / hosted with data up-to-date.
3. For setting up Institutional Mechanism for monitoring of PPP Projects, aProject Monitoring System has been developed and in this regard, Member (PPP)had issued an Office Memorandum No.11013/DMS/2013 dated April 28,2014 whichinter alia stated that:-
a) All the concerned PDs will be responsible for entry of data in PPP MonitoringSystem for pre-construction, under construction and O&M PPP Projects andROs will be responsible for approval of data entered in PPP MonitoringSystem. This entire activity was to be completed by 31.05.2014.
b) Data entry shall be a monthly activity and entire activity will be completed by25th of every month.
c) A training Manual and Instructions have been sent to all PDs and a report wasto be generated by 28th of each month to ensure non-compliance of data entryby PDs.

d) Non compliance report will be linked to performance of PD/lEs and ifnecessary, will be linked to the release of monthly bill of IndependentEngineer.
4. Hands on training for all Concessionaires, Independent Engineers and staff ofROs / PIUs has been imparted in the month of May & June, 2014 for Maharashtra,Madhya Pradesh, Chhatisgarh & Karnataka. Similar trainings are being organized forother States also.
5. Websites of individual projects is proposed to be hyperlinked with theInformation Portal of, as per details given below:-
