In water samples from rivers / lakes are defined: 65 hydrochemical parameters Oxygen regime: O2mg / L (and%), BOD5, COD Mineralization: total hardness, total salt content, major ions Nutrients: NO3, NO2, NH4, PO4, total P Mettaly (28 elements), including heavy metals: As, Fe, Cd, Ni, Cr, Pb, Mn, Cu, Zn, Ba, Sb, Li, B, etc. Organochlorine pesticides (up to 12): DDT, DDE, aldrin, lindane, endrin, α-HCH, heptachlor, etc. Other organic contaminants: BETX (benzene, ethylbenzene, toluene, xylenes), nonane, isooctane, decane-up etc.

Provision of data on water quality of rivers / lakes in Armenia at the international level within the framework of the Kura-Aras interregional cooperation (water of transboundary rivers data):

"Preliminary report on the assessment of transboundary rivers, flowing into the Caspian Sea, and their major transboundary tributaries" of the Fourth Meeting of Parties to the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes, 2006.

REVIEW OF WATER international data

OPredostavlenie data on water quality of rivers / lakes in Armenia at the international level by agreement between the neighboring states:

Protocol between the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia and Iran, since 2006. joint monitoring and exchange of data on water quality of the transboundary river Arak.

Periodically carried out as a joint monitoring and exchange of water data for Georgia river basin Debed-temple.

также приодически предоставляется вся необходимая информация о миниторинге и управления данными качества и количества воды, водопользования и т.п.

advantages:

There are up to 95% of the required data on the water quality of rivers / lakes in Armenia , including information about punktak observation (codes , coordinates) , the archive database , the basin area , the sources of anthropogenic impacts , data on water use , etc.

Since the organization to monitor the quality of surface waters is preparing for international accreditation , all procedures associated with obtaining water data ( sampling , methods of analysis , calibration , data processing ) meets the international standards.

All izpolzuemye physico- chemical analysis of water correspond to the international standards ISO and EPA . Data quality analyzes of water certified and reliable.

difficulties:

Available data archive water quality of rivers and lakes in Armenia in 1964 and 2003 . Dostum is not fully digital.

Series data for certain water quality parameters such as TOC (Total Organic Carbon), POPs , etc. , interrupted that beacause with the emergence of some technical problems.

Available digital database formats (excel form) do not fully correspond to the formats of WISE, conduct the technical work for the transition to international forms of providing water quality data.

Additional resources , training for employees , as well as exchange of international experience .

National Statistical Service of the RA Ministry of Nature Protection , its podrozdeleniya , as well as other related institutions are actively involved in the work on the implementation of international norms and standards to improve the control and monitoring okruzhayuuschey environment.

With WISE methodology and program support SEIS will be possible : uluchshienie quality and data collection methods and the flow of environmental data improvement of network and water quality monitoring program of the rivers / lakes according to international standards

This will lead to the rapid introduction of SEIS-Armenia.
