IPR CELL

The IPR Cell at NIPER was created as a central facility in 2004 to facilitate the management of intellectual wealth of the Institute by identi�cation and protect ion of pharmaceutical innovations emanating from public funded research. It facilitates the �ling and licensing of patents for all the departments of the Institute. The IPR cell is also equipped with a Computer lab for hands on training with other infrastructural facilities.

� To safeguard the interests of inventor in creation and commercialisation of intellectual property with legal support wherever necessary

� To help in human resource development in IPRs to meet the demands and challenges of academic institutions and Industry for IPR trained professionals

� To support individuals about patent dra�ing, speci�cation and claims writing and �ling of patent application

� To support individuals in prosecution of already �led patents at patent o�ice

� G r a d u a t e s f r o m a n y s t r e a m ( F r e s h e r s /Bachelors/Masters) for skill development
