National Marianist Family, India Newsletter Issue dated November 1 2015 On the behalf of National Marianist Family Council I take this opportunity to thank each and every member of the Marianist family in India for participating wholeheartedly in the World Day of Prayer this year. What made this year extra special was that it was the first joyous and blessed celebration coming soon after the National Marianist Family; India was formed in August this year. As we all agree the formation of the NMFC, India is a significant milestone in the growth of the Marianists in India. The World Day of Prayer this year was celebrated at The Blessed Chaminade Parish in Singhpur, North India and at The Schoenstatt Shrine of Our Lady in Bengaluru, South India. We were blessed to have our Superior General Rev Manuel Cortes and Brother Michael McAward SM in Bengaluru, Rev. Andre Fetis SM and Bro. Maximin Magnan SM in Singhpur celebrating with us. The Family of Mary Immaculate (established in Ranchi in 2005), on the 8 th of September2015 1st Profession day At present the FMI sisters are 20 perpetually and temporary professed.
