BANDURIA is a country of Middle East. After a long

foreign domination lasted for 5 centuries, it reached

the independence in 1965 at the end of a bloody war

that was fought by Fronte di Liberazione di Banduria

(FLB). In March 1965 the FLB expelled all the foreign

citizens and took the full control of the country.

After a bloody civil war, between the FLB and the Bandurians Free Fighters

(BFF) the UNSC successfully enforced a peaceful solution to the parties

under the UNSCR resolution 2110. The full acceptance from both sides of a

Peace Agreement and establishment of an interim Government and the

supervision of the International Community, was achieved.

UNSC with UNSCR 2111 gave mandate to NATO to deploy a Multinational

Stabilization Force (MNSF).

This force was deployed to prevent recurrence of fighting, provide security to

the interim Government and allowing humanitarian organizations to fulfill

their missions.

textile, manufacturing, oil products, cement.

Most people are employed in agriculture, the services sector and crafts.



Phase II (interposition) has been successfully accomplished. Phase III is still on going (stabilization) with some difficulties.

Organized crime, illicit traffic, smuggling, social unrest, poverty and environmental hazards are unsolved problems.
