Residents choosing West Natomas over other neighborhoods are looking for qualities not found in the broader Natomas area. Interconnectivity with one’s neighbors is treasured. But what happens when you’d like to step out… for dinner, a cup of coffee, or some fun? Wouldn’t it be nice to find something in West Natomas to fill those needs?
Natomas Landing answers the call by designing a Main Street center reflecting the unique qualities of West Natomas. It showcases the entry to the neighborhood with landmark signage, greeting “Welcome to West Natomas.” It recognizes
that communities spring from connections. It combines abalance of uses that both complement and support the
surrounding neighborhoods.
The first phase of the project sets an engaging tone by providing sit-down restaurants at the corner of El Centro and Del Paso Roads.
This will be followed by a neighborhood-serving retail along Main Street. Pathways will extend throughoutthe project, with lush landscaping and unique art pieces beckoning an extended walk. The buildings, which are scaled to be compatible with the surrounding area, feature materials chosen for quality and environmental sustainability.
Unlike many retail centers in the Natomas community, Natomas Landing is designed and serve to fit the neighborhood. The largest store will be about half the size of those found
in sprawling shopping centers. The shops will be tailored to provideopportunities to complete the weekend checklist within
the neighborhood.
