Effected annually by water-related disaster: flooding, Typhoon, drought,landslide, Storm Surges, flashflood.

Main Disaster for area is flooding and typhoon

CONCLUSION AND RECOMANDATIONS

1. The Flood, Storm are main disasters in Vietnam.2. A Holistic Approach for Disaster Management should beApplied:

- Improving Coordination Mechanism - Preparedness of Resources and plans- Disaster Information Dissemination- Investment for Disaster Reduction- Participation and Collaboration of all Stakeholder(The Socialisation of all Preventive operations is needed )

3. Exploitation and Application of advancedtechniques, technologies and experiences, Especially:- Safe Dike System (Strengthening Dike foundation)- River Banks Protection-Forecasting and Warning Activities.

4. Sum up Disaster and withdraw lesson for coming years.5. Setting up and strengthening an effectively

corporation between Countries in the regional, to help each other in coping with disasters.
