• Theis a quasi-independent government authority createdto reform the process of funding capital improvementprojects in the Commonwealth’s public schools.

• Sheila Vanderhoef, Former Town Administrator for theTown of Eastham, is a member of the MSBA Board ofDirectors.

• The MSBA has a dedicated revenue stream of1% of the statewide sales tax and has funded more than$20 billion in school construction projects.

• The MSBA will reimburse the District 37.95% of all eligible costs for thefeasibility study. The NRHS project will earn additional “Incentive Points” for EnergyEfficiency, Routine & Capital Maintenance, and Renovation/Reuse of existing facility(calculated by total area reused).
