Anthony Durnford London Marine and Energy Technical Claims Manager
Anthony joined Navigators in 2006 having spent fifteen years at Hiscox gaining a wide spectrum of knowledge and experience within their various claims departments. Anthony commenced his career within the insurance industry in 1989 having worked at a lead broking house as a broker for Heath Lambert before being approached to join Hiscox as part of their non-marine claims team and progressing through to claims management. Since joining the industry Anthony has built up extensive first-hand experience in all aspects of marine, non-marine and energy claims handling, including multifaceted litigation and complex coverage matters. Anthony currently works as the Marine and Energy Technical Claims Manager for Navigators Europe and is based in London overseeing the London claims teams, including Marine and Energy. Anthony is a member of the Claims Global Leadership team and sits on the joint marine claims committee.

Steven has been working within the insurance industry since 1999, having spent the first nine years of his career working in various progressive claims roles within the Global Markets division of Marsh Ltd. In 2008 he joined Liberty International Underwriters as a Claims Adjuster focusing specifically on Onshore energy, Construction and operation engineering claims. Richard joined Navigators in 2009 having spent two years working as a trainee Cargo and Specie Claims Adjuster for Xchanging Claims Services, based in London. Prior to joining the maritime industry Richard graduated from Sheffield University with a BA honours degree in Business and Information Management. Richard currently works within the Marine and Energy division of the claims team based in London handling claims across all classes of business for both Navigators Syndicate and Navigators Insurance Company.

Tayo joined Navigators in 2016 having spent the previous three years as a Loss Adjuster for Charles Taylor Adjusting within their Energy team, based in London.
Tayo has been working within the insurance industry since 2013, during this time Tayo has handled a variety of claims arising out of Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Hydro losses around the world including Nigeria, South Korea, Norway and the UK. Prior to working in the insurance industry Tayo worked as a mechanical engineer specialising in Rotating Machinery, designing engineering solutions for power generation and LNG projects working in London and Nigeria. Tayo holds a MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.

Liam joined Navigators in 2016 having spent the previous 16 years handling Property Claims as a Senior Claims Handler for Chaucer Syndicates, based in London.
Liam has been working within the insurance industry since 1998, when he started as a trainee at the Lloyds Policy Signing Office (LPSO) in Chatham, Kent. From here he moved to Chaucer Syndicates in 2000 where he started handling UK Property and Third Party Liability claims. He quickly progressed to work closely with the Property Underwriters to handle claims for their specific book of business including large and complex losses as well as maintaining a strong relationship with Brokers and Coverholders. Further to this, part of his function was to manage experts which included audit and conduct risk control.
Liam currently works within the Property and Onshore Energy division of the claims team based in London, handling all aspects of Property claims.
