What is Naviance Student?
How to Log Into Naviance Student
• All students have an account set up with Naviance.
• To login go to ClassLink and click the UCS Naviance Icon.
• You will then be taken directly to your student page on your school Naviance site.

Task #1 Review and Update Career ListUnder the Careers tab selectCareers I'm Thinking About There are many ways to get to your
favorite careers. Here are a few additional ideas to consider.
If you go to Careers and then Home, you can search for any career even if it is not on your list of career clusters.

Search for any career even if it is not in your career pathway here.
Add 4 favorite careers to your list by clicking the heart icon.
If you are feeling like your interests have changed since last year, you can retake the assessment by clicking Start Over.
Results show your interest level in each cluster.
You can click the EDIT button in any category if you would like to just revisit one section and not the entire assessment.

Use the Fit Criteria tabs located across the top to refine your search and find schools that might be a good match for you.***You do not need to fill out every tab, however, the more information you give, the more accurate your results will be.***
You may also use these arrows to go back and forth between criteria selection.
Once you have selected criteria from the Choose Fit Criteria bar at the top, it will appear in the boxes below titled Must Have and Nice to Have. You can move your selections from one box to another to see how that changes your results. You may also save searches. Ex. You could have a search for in state colleges and then start over and do another for out of state.
You can move criteria from the Must Have box over tothe Nice to Have box by dragging it or by clicking the arrow.
You can save and refer to your searches here.
Must Have – These are choices your college needs to have, or you will not go there.
Nice to Have – These options are items that might help you make a decision one way or another but are not absolutely necessary.

Use these drop-down menus to select the criterion you want to show and compare.
The Why button will tell you what criterion matched and what is missing from your match results.
If there is something in this box, you can click on it for additional college info.
Favorite and Pin colleges to save and compare them later.

Adding Colleges to the "Colleges I'm Thinking About List"
There are 2 ways to get to your list of colleges.
On your Home Screen, Under My Favorites, you will see Colleges I'm Thinking About.
Under the Colleges tab, select Colleges I'm Thinking About.
Click on Add Colleges to List. Then you can either select or search for colleges you like. Click the Favorite button next to Actions to add the college(s) to your Favorites List.
Create an Academic SMART
Goal for 10th Grade

In the Goals section, Do NOT select
10th Grade Goal. Click on the Green
Add New Grade 10 – Academic
SMART Goal.
This goal should be something you
want to accomplish in school by the
end of 10th grade.

your goal and what supports you
need to achieve it. When you are
finished, click ADD at the

Activities
As you enter each activity, you are
only required to complete the entries
starred in red. If you are currently
involved in the activity, you will
check the To Present box. You do not need to worry about the
average hours or total hours. Check
the grades that you participated in
this activity, and then click Add.
Saving Your Resume –
Step 1
When you are finished entering
activities, you must save your
resume. The first step is to click on
Print/Export Resume.

Start by entering a name for your resume. Use
the date or the grade you are in.
Click Preview to see each different style.
Once you pick your favorite, click Continue.
Saving your Resume –
Step 3
Click the checkboxes next to the
activities you would like to include on
this resume. Typically you will click all of
the activities.
Once you are finished, click Save
Resume.
My Saved Resumes
Your Resume has been created! You can now Edit it, Download it, or Remove it.
If you want to change the formatting, download it as a DOCX document.
If you want to save it "as is" with no changes, download it as a PDF document.
If you want to create another resume, you will click the White plus inside the Pink circle again.

that are important to you in a college experience. Supermatch Quick Reference Guide
College Match is a way to view and explore colleges that may be of interest to you.
Use the Advanced College Search to find college results based on selected areas of interest related to
location, athletics, majors, costs, and others.
College Lookup is a great way to search for colleges based on items such as name, location, keyword, etc.
Once you identify a college you like make sure to add it to Colleges, I am Thinking About
