MARK MEDEIROS - PRESIDENT I was born and raised in New Bedford.

As a young man I remember New

Bedford as vibrant, prosperous and

envied city, it was and I believe now is

becoming that city again, albeit very

slowly. The New Bedford Travel Guide

will be "voice" telling people of this

transformation, I like the idea of being a

part of that.

MATT MEDEIROS - DIRECTOR My family’s roots stem deep in the

city of New Bedford and the South

Coast. As technical project manager

for The New Bedford Travel guide,

my role is to deliver an outstanding

web property for tourists visiting the

area. It’s an honor to develop this

project with a great team and for a

great cause.

The City of New Bedford has been a

passion of mine for the past three years.

I have dedicated much of my time to

various projects and events to better our

beautiful city. I feel strongly that this

travel guide is something that the New

Bedford, surrounding towns, and

businesses in the area can be proud of. I

look forward to delivering a quality

product for this year and many years to

come.

JULIA PERRY - PHOTO/DESIGN As a graduating student of UMass Dartmouth and resident of New Bedford, I am proud to call this area my home. Being brought onto this project is an honor, and I hope that my design and illustration ability can create a guide that you will all be proud of.

DEREK ALMEIDA - OPERATIONS As a child I have fond memories of riding

the SRTA bus into Downtown New

Bedford to enjoy in the community of

museums, stores and eateries. As an Adult,

my family and I still partake in visiting the

steadfast institutions as well as the new

generation of retail & restaurants. We have

a gem of a City and NB Travel guide will

broaden its appeal to a whole new audience

of visitors. I am proud to be a part of this

endeavor.

JEFF GOLENSKI - SENIOR DESIGNER I come from a family of New Bedford locals that

runs several generations deep. Through stories of

my parents and grandparents, I've seen the beauty

of our city's heritage and all its offerings. As Web

Designer of New Bedford Guide I hope to bring

that vision to the web. Through this interactive

online outlet, we can share our unique and

enchanting city with everyone around the world,

and let them know what an amazing place New

Bedford really is.
