NOLCOM 503rd Infantry Brigade conducted rescue and retrieval operations inthe landslide areas (Brgy. San Juan-Banyo, Arayat, Pampanga)
PNP: Dispatched various SAR equipment such as: NCR SRU Van, Squad EMS-
NHQ, SOD-NHQ, water tanker, mini-pumper rubber boats, jaguar, firetrucks and others for SAR operations in Regions I, III, IV-A and NCR
Conducted road clearing operations along Sumulong highway and ImeldaAvenue, both of Cainta; Ortigas Avenue Extension and Floodway, both ofPasig City; and Tullahan Marikina
Provided four (4) PNP motorcycle escorts for the joint NDCC UN rapidassessment teams
Conducted aerial assessment of flood affected areas and distributed 150bags of relief goods to flood victims in Pasig City

The 51st Engineering Brigade, PA organized and dispatched a Disaster,Rescue and Relief Operations team composed of 6 Officers and 60 enlistedpersonnel led by Brigade Commander Simoy with 2 loaders, 2 dump trucks,
3 Canter Elf and 1 backhoe loader Two (2) DRRUs with two (2) units rubber boats from Philippine Navy Poro

US Contingent: 1 Officer and 17 EPs, with night capability equipment, 2 rubber

CEISSAFP coordinated with SMART Telecom re: Installation of GSM900repeater at NDCC Operation Center to enhance mobile phone signal insidethe OPCEN building
Globe Telecom temporarily lent four (4) hotlines at NDCC OPCEN to augmentthe communication capability in responding to emergency calls in the calamityareas during the entire TS Ondoy Operations, with the following hotlinenumbers: (0917) 733-4193, (0917) 733-4256, (0917) 733-4263 and (0915)536-6719
The Manila and Subic Yacht Clubs lent rubber boats to the NDCC for use ofresponse teams in the conduct of rescue operations. San Miguel Corporation and Petron Corporation donated 20 pieces 2.7 kg
cylinder lamps for use in the evacuation areas
PHAP Cares Foundation thru Executive Director Glecy C. Cuenco donated 5boxes of assorted medicines.

DSWD had distributed the following items at the Rosario Sports Complex: 5 bigboxes of doughnuts, 146 small boxes of doughnuts, 52 bags of hotmeal, 4boxes of bottled water, 12 bags of used clothes, and 2 bags of blankets
Dr. Rafael Rodriguez of Medical Plaza donated 1 unit rubber boat to NDCCwhich was turned over to the AFP

Damage Assessment DPWH reported that asof 7:00 AM today there are still 17 road sections
impassable to all types of vehicles in the following areas: NCR (6); RegionIII (1); Region IV-A (6); Region IV-B (3) and CAR (1)
DepEd reported that 34 schools were damaged: 27 elementary schools, 7 highschool in Regions CAR, NCR, III and IV-A amounting to PhP19.2M. There are
73 school buildings used as evacuation centers housing 1,650 families and1,366 individuals
DA reported the areas affected and production loss by commodity and bystage of crops such as rice, corn and HVCC

Humanitarian Responses
AFP-PAF dispatched DART Team A (Disaster Alert Response Team) to theaffected areas of NCR and Central Luzon composed of 18-members ofreservist, enlisted personnel and civilian volunteers.

DOH activated all DOH CHDs operations center 24 hours/7days withcontinuous coordination with the LGUs concerned and the amount of logisticalsupport augmented is P807,910.00consisting of the following items :150pieces of cadaver bags and six (6) boxes of assorted drugs andmedicines, 350 boxes of bottled water (8,400 bottles) for NCR and samequantity for CHD IV-A, 350 packs family kits, provided Generator set to
Amang Rodriquez Medical Center. Transferred patients to Quirino Medicalhospital, coordinated with NBI on the management of dead bodies;advance medical post for medical team deployment; and CHD-NCR formedical team deployment. Deployed the following medical teams : Quirinomemorial medical Center; Las Pinas General Hospital - Satellite TraumaHospita; Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center; Veterans Memorial MedicalCenter and Assessment team from CHD Metro Manila
DSWDs on-going interventions are activation of the Quick Response team andSocial Welfare and Disaster (QRT/SWAD) teams to provide technical assistanceto the disaster-affected local government units (LGUs) on disaster operations;provided PhP2,737,166.00 worth of relief goods consisting of food and non-food commodities to the affected families; and prepositioned stand-by funds,
family food packs and stockpile of relief commodities composed of food andnon-food amounting to PhP20,829,000.95 by the field offices concerned alongthe typhoon path; processed transfer of funds to DSWD-NCR, CAR, I, II, III,IV_V, IV-B, V, IX and XII amounting to PhP 5 Million, provided hot mealsto family-evacuees in evacuation centers through the management ofcommunity kitchen; set up social welfare Inquiry Seks in all affectedareas to respond to queries of relatives and families at the evacuationcenters; set up NGOs and donors desk in all DSWD-FOs to strengthenlinkages between the DSWD LGUs, NGOs and other partners to facilitateprompt and effective delivery of donations and humanitarian assistance,receipt /processing of cash donations through DSWD donation AccountNumber 3122-1011-84, land Bank of the Philippines ; receipt donationsfrom local and private individuals consisting of water and assorted food
items and non-food items; partnered with Petron Corporation, LBCCompany and 7-eleven Stores for the receipt and/or drop off points fordanations
PNRC rescued 282 persons and provided relief assistance to the victims National Grid Corporation of the Philippines conducted power restoration in
various damaged sub-stations (S/S). All lines are on normal operation exceptSan Jose, Bulacan and CND-San Miguel (Bacnotan, San Miguel, La Union);waiting for normalization of load systems from distribution utilities (Meralco forMetro Manila area) and electric cooperatives.
BFPs emergency responders were dispatched to the flooded areas along thethoroughfares of Metro Manila areas covering Districts I, II, III, IV and V
Philippine Coast Guard has rescued 2,290 persons in San Juan, Manila,
Quezon City, Marikina City, Pasig City, Taguig City, Paranaque City, Rizal andLaguna. The PCG Islander conducted aerial reconnaissance to identifyother flooded areas that need assistance. Likewise PCG Helicopter wasutilized in the distribution of relief goods provided by NGO, World Visionof the Philippines Five (5) teams are concentrating rescue operationswithin Cainta-Pasig area and relief goods distribution, in coordination withPNRC aside from disaster response. Also responding to four (4) maritimeincidents

PGMA Sagip-Tulong Activities by PAGCOR 1000H 27 September 2009, deployed three (3) teams and distributed bread and
water to various evacuation centers in Malanday, Marikina and at Brgy. Tatalon,Quezon City
Set-up of a medical mission with eleven (11) doctors and distributed medicines,bread and water at the Santolan Elementary School, Pasig City (694
beneficiaries) and Brgy. Taong, Marikina City (868 beneficiaries) Deployed buses to bring evacuees and stranded people to various evacuation
centers. In cooperation with AFP distributed assorted relief goods,assorted bread and biscuits and 162 crates of bottled mineral water atever Gotesco in Ortigas
Provided 21 bags of rice at the evacuation center in Rosario Complex Continuously coordinating with PNP and AFP for the transport and distribution of
relief goods Distributed Five Hundred (500) packs of rice and additional ten (10) cavans of
rice for the three (3) evacuation centers in Marikina and four (4) in Pasig City Donated three (3) motorized rubber boats with seating capacity of 5.6 and
11 were officially turned over to NDCCand100 cavans of rice to Marilao,
Bulacan PAGCOR will now focus its efforts in providing relief goods since
floodwaters have receded and families are already returning to theirhomes. However, rescue operations and medical still continue in areasthat are still submerged including Cainta, Rizal
