PERTO DO ASSOMBRONEARBY WONDER

CERCA DEL ASOMBRO2013

Amazement is the assassin of the ordinary.A rupture in the predictable.A frequency-breaker.A trigger of violent nature. It's obliteration comming from the opposite side. It's the unexpected.A crack in the dam of your static fluids.comming in waves which you can't wish, ask or demandIt just / shows / up.It's the inevitable.True amazement the one who runs parallel to fear.Fear which scratches unused depths of yourself.Fear which declares himself useful, after being evil.Fear shaped as journey. Travestied as wisdom, carving the flesh of the the mind.Plowing swamped territories.Leaving something different.

Nor better.Nor worse.

Different.

NEARBY WONDER

I don't like to sound paranoid when the air is watching. Not today,in a place where the metals of the world are going back to the mines.

Where the mind transpireslubricating bikes made out of mudwhich I use to race against the river who lets me win sometimes when suspects that I have to go back for supper.

Where gravity, living in the flat down below, gets late with the rent just like me.

Where an hour lasts 63 minutes and we farewell every single onethundering powder mantras to the skywith a crab friendwhich I gave my shell.

We counted twenty eight today, until we were interrupted by a tide that stole my organs.

I chose get them back

Whenbeyond the buoysa horse yelled that he found them.

I started to swim

BRAVE AND AFRAID

I reached him three months later his family was sending off a foal we burned himand after dinner The King Horse hugged me saying that all my organs will be water again and ripped off my ear from the root repeating that everything is just fine

then, they submerged backbut I could't follow

so the sea started to boilwith a new plunge from a sun who chose to drawn himself againsnuffing all the lights and currents with his demise

I landed on the rocky bottom and tried to lay downbut there wasn't space so I walked through all the moribund population of the ocean

I heard gills and lungs choking with themselves while a jaw started to gulp me down.

Stilllucky enough to find a bigger jawamong the corpses of the sea

I closed my snatched eyes

and I put my head in

ABSENT OBLIVION

I dug down the bodyand I saw my ear inside a locker made of coagulated bloodThe King Horse was waitingchewing unknown cartilages

"you found your organs", he said

and one by one he sewed everything backfarming trails of meaty pockets.

Then he took off my clothes laid me down changed the pillow caseand commanded me to rest still awake

I slept well that year dreamt about past dreams put them togetherin different positions week after weektoying with them cutting distances travelling through people remembering uneventful adventures

thenfollowing a trick from my inexistent grandpa

I stared my hands.

DEATH

I recognized my fingers resurrecting in fragmented movements as extensions of an unusually orange palm

It was a rigid, liquid and independent procession suffocating Timedividing him in wooden envelopes sealed by tongues from the centre of the Earth

I delivered them fast enough to wave back to everybody

especially, the tipping of a hat (common practices from The King Horse).

Rarely, he showed up checking on my stitches,

which I finally ripped off myself. Ejecting my weight in a last trip.

Last month I received his postal. He met again with the foalIn a descriptive chronicabout how busy is hewith all the roundtrips around the sun.

I pinned the postal in a foreign chest

And I started to run.

THANK YOU
