-The greatest need is Firefighter Safety. - The buildings are larger and will require a taller ladder to reach.- Ground ladder sizes are not large enough to safely get on the roof.- Different types of roof coverings are not safe for Firefighters to walk on.- Roof Pitches on newer residential homes are to steep for Firefighters to safely vent the home.
