HOW TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES AT THE NEIGHBORHOOD RECREATION CENTERFill out a class household information card and pay the required fees at the center. You are not enrolled into the class until you have: 1) signed the waiver on the back of the household information card, 2) your fees have been paid, and 3) you have received your receipt. You also may register online starting the fi rst day of registration. Look for the class registration link under Online Services on the City’s website, cityofnorthlasvegas.comPlease note: The City of North Las Vegas reserves the right to prorate class fees as necessary due to holidays, etc.

SAFEKEY PROGRAMSafekey is a structured before and after school recreational enrichment program designed for K-5th grade children. Safekey is offered at school sites and provides a variety of activities and social events such as arts and crafts, 4-H Stem, diversity program, fi tness activities and physical games that are facilitated by trained staff.
Children may work on homework during supervised free play time during the hours of Safekey, but we cannot enforce the completion of homework or ensure that it is done correctly. Safekey is a recreation-based program; we do not offer tutoring or homework help. This is to ensure that children are not misadvised on homework.
You must sign your child in and out daily. The person who is scheduled to pick up the child must be listed on the participation form and must show proper identifi cation. Every child must have a new Safekey participation form on fi le for the 2018-19 school year.
PREPAID SAFEKEY PROGRAMSafekey is a prepaid program. Each child must have an appropriate morning or afternoon pass on their account before they can attend. If no passes are purchased, the child will be sent to the school’s offi ce.
A $10 late pick-up fee is assessed for every 10-minute increment the child stays past the scheduled program time, beginning at 6:01 p.m. The late fee is due at the time of pick up or before the participant returns to the program.
REFUND POLICY Once payment has been received, there will be no refunds. A pass may be transferred if notice of non-attendance is given in advance. Transfer of a pass must be requested by phone to the main Safekey offi ce at (702) 633-1608 or by email to [email protected] by the end of the business day prior. NO EXCEPTIONS. Late requests will not be accepted.

#GOALS PROGRAM (Giving Opportunity and Life Skills)#Goals is a safe afterschool program designed specifi cally for children ages 11-14 to provide a positive environment with social, civic, educational and recreational programs. The #GOALS program is offered at participating middle schools within the City of North Las Vegas. The program was developed to teach responsibility and leadership, and promote self-esteem. #GOALS will help youths discover their talents and boost their imagination so the impossible becomes possible.
#GOALS concentrates on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) topics, and focuses on subjects to help youths gain the skills needed to succeed in today’s world. #GOALS will inspire and motivate students to invent, create and solve problems, while learning about being good citizens, all in a fun learning environment.
The #GOALS program will also offer age-appropriate workshops, excursions, tutoring and fi tness activities.

This is a lighted golf course!The City of North Las Vegas Par 3 Golf Course and DiscGolfPark operates a 9-hole par 3 golf course and an 18-hole professional disc golf park. It is open seven days a week and offers the best value in the Las Vegas Valley. Open year round, both courses can be enjoyed by golfers of all ages and abilities. The club is especially
user-friendly for seniors and beginners. The length of the Par 3 course is not intimidating, and there are no artifi cial hazards. At the same time, the small greens present a challenge for more accomplished players. Our professionally designed disc golf park offers the fun and challenges that every disc golfer craves!
Both courses are well maintained and offer gently rolling terrain with many mature trees and a great view of the Las Vegas Valley. Ours was the fi rst lighted course in Nevada. Golfers can tee off as late as 4:30 pm in fall and 8:30 pm in summer. A small coffee shop and a pro shop that features top of the line ball and disc golf products are located in the clubhouse.

STICKS FOR KIDSGolf is an excellent way to introduce children to physical activity, to increase their environmental awareness and to provide an opportunity to learn a sport they can enjoy throughout their lifetime. The Sticks for Kids program provides as many children as possible with a set of golf clubs to use while learning to play the game. The North Las Vegas Par 3 Golf Course is proud to offer Sticks for Kids clubs for use at no cost. See Pro Shop staff for more information.
SPECIAL PROGRAMSThe Par 3 Golf Course is a Boy Scouts Merit Badge-Cub Scouts Loop & Pin certifi ed location. Please call and book an individual tee time for a trooper or a group time for an entire troop. We encourage parent participation and supervision while troopers fulfi ll their requirements to obtain their badge or loop and pin.
EDGE is a curriculum-based program that teaches youths about the sport of disc golf. The Educational Disc Golf Experience will run in conjunction with local schools and recreation centers during the winter, spring and summer months.
TOURNAMENTS The Par 3 Golf Course hosts multiple tournaments throughout the year. Tournaments may be organized by the city through leagues, or the course may be reserved for private use. Fees may apply. All tournaments are open to the general public, unless a private event. Contact course staff at (702) 633-1833 for pricing and additional information.
LEAGUESThe Par 3 golf course is looking forward to introducing formalized leagues for men, women and children ages 6-17 in support of the Sticks for Kids program. These leagues will meet once a week. Golfers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join. As additional information becomes available, dates, fees and other information will be posted in the Pro Shop.
MERCHANDISEThe Par 3 Golf Course Pro Shop has both ball golf and disc golf products for sale. The Pro Shop features full sets of clubs, as well as wedges, putters, gloves and balls, in addition to the latest disc golf discs and products.
GOLF LESSONS The City of North Las Vegas is proud to offer golf lessons for beginner to intermediate golfers. Classes are held once a week, for 6 weeks. Beginner classes are $50 and meet for 60 minutes and intermediate classes are $60 and meet for 90 minutes. Private lessons are now available at various times on weekdays for $25 per hour. These are non-group lessons for all ages 6+ with one instructor to one student instruction. The lessons are for a 6-week period, at 60 minutes in length per week for $75 in total. Clubs are available at no additional charge for participant use during lesson time.

Aliante Golf Club is an 18-hole facility operated by Elite Golf Management for the City of North Las Vegas. The course offers many amenities, including a practice facility and the 3100 Grille. A full range of golf merchandise and Mizuno Club Fitting are also available.
• The natural grass practice area has a two tiered driving range, two large putting greens (one for chipping), and a practice bunker.

PICNIC SHELTERS: Picnic shelters are ideal for family birthday parties, baby or bridal showers and other small events involving fewer than 100 people. These reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance. Fees are $75 per hour with a 2-hour minimum. LARGE EVENT-MULTI DAY USE: These reservations are ideal for family reunions, weddings, company picnics, school functions or other larger events involving more than 100 people. These reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance. Fees start at $100 per hour per area with a 4-hour minimum. A refundable cleaning/damage deposit will be determined upon submission and review of your application.
JUMPER POLICY: Jumpers and bounce houses are welcome in designated areas at City-owned parks, with approval from park staff, as long as the reserving group obtains a park permit through the Park Offi ce. Staff reserves the right to charge an add-on fee for more than one jumper at certain picnic shelters. All companies providing jumpers and/or bounce houses must have comprehensive liability insurance with the City named as an additional insured. Companies may not use stakes to secure the jumper and/or bounce house.

CRAIG RANCH REGIONAL PARK GROUP SHELTERSShelters are ideal for family reunions, company picnics, HOA meetings, wedding receptions and other events. Reservations are taken on a fi rst-come, fi rst-served basis and must be made a minimum of 14 days in advance. Shelters are reserved in hourly blocks of time and range from $50-$100 per hour (holidays are additional). Alcohol may be served with prior written permission from the Park Supervisor.
LARGE SHELTERS:#1 VILLAGE LODGE/#2 ADVENTURE LODGE/#6 GARDEN LODGE/#9 LAGOON LODGEThese shelters can accommodate up to 400 people and each is equipped with 25 tables and a commercial barbeque. Large shelters are available for reservations for a minimum of fi ve (5) hours. Jumpers are permitted at all shelters, except the Village Lodge. Add-on grass areas can be reserved around the Adventure, Garden and Lagoon Lodges.
MEDIUM SHELTERS:#7 COTTAGE/#8 CABINThese shelters can accommodate up to 200 people and each is equipped with 7 tables and a commercial barbeque. Medium shelters are available for reservations for a minimum of fi ve (5) hours. Jumpers are permitted at all shelters, except the Village Lodge. Add-on grass areas can be reserved around both the Cottage and the Cabin.
SMALL SHELTERS:#3 TEEPEE/#4 WIGWAM/#5 WICKIUPThese shelters can accommodate up to 65 people and each is equipped with at least 4 tables and a commercial barbeque. Small shelters are available for reservations for a minimum of three (3) hours. No jumpers are permitted.
CRAIG RANCH REGIONAL PARK EVENT AND OPEN SPACE RENTALSCraig Ranch Regional Park has multiple open space features, a state of the art Amphitheater, event plazas, a 65,000 square-foot skate park and parking lots that can be reserved and confi gured to fi t the needs of your next event! Fees for each area vary depending on the size and scope of the event. Please contact the park offi ce for more information or to submit a request form.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND REFUNDS: Any changes to your reservation must be made to this offi ce no less than 14 days prior to the reservation date to receive any form of refund. A refund of 50% will be issued if the event is cancelled in person or in writing at least 14 days prior to reservation date (30 days prior for open space rentals). Refunds will only be made when proper cancellation procedures are followed. Refunds may take up to 4-6 weeks to be processed. The City of North Las Vegas will refund the full amount if the event is cancelled by our department for the full amount less any costs directly incurred by the department. A $25 fee will be assessed to the issuer for all checks returned to the department for insuffi cient funds.

COMMUNITY GARDEN: The Community Garden offers sixty-two, 5’ x 13’ personal gardening plots that are available for reservations on an annual basis. Applications for the Community Garden are available online or in person at the Craig Ranch offi ce. The annual fee is $150 per plot and includes water usage.
FARMERS MARKET: On the Ranch Farmers and Artisan Market is open EVERY SUNDAY (rain, shine and holidays) inside Craig Ranch Regional Park. Our June - September summer hours are 8:00am-1:00pm; our November - May hours are 9:00am-2:00pm. Come out and get your farm fresh, organic and conventionally grown produce and honey for the week along with locally made spices, sauces, oils and vinegars, kettle corn, Hawaiian shaved ice, handmade jewelry, crafts, natural skincare products, clothing, incenses and oils, children’s books, Reiki sessions, hot foods and more!
