• This item was garaged about 1 ½ years ago. No action

has been taken. Brookside Church has been spoken to

and is not committed at this time to take a project like

this on.

Historic Designs

Item 6.4.G: Utilize historically sensitive designs in

redevelopment of streetscapes and infrastructure,

including treatment of street lights, street signs,

benches, brick streets, neighborhood entrance

pillars, sidewalk tiles, etc.

• This item has been garaged for close to a year. NESCO has

expressed some concern that this needs to have other

partners attached to it.

• 4.5.1 Develop a streamlined process that summarizes Near Eastside resources and businesses to inform offenders prior to release and assist with re-entry.

• 4.5.1a Obtain accurate numbers semi-annually of those offenders released to Marion County, specifically to those in area code 46201.

• 4.5.2 Connect and support Near Eastside children and families impacted by incarceration.

• 4.5.2a Provide information to incarcerated offenders to share with their families about resources available to them to Near Eastside neighborhood.

• 4.2.2b Provide information to near Eastside schools and churches to share with those with incarcerated family members of resources in the Near Eastside neighborhood.
