ISO14001 environmental management system identifies and
rates our aspects and impacts.
Risk is controlled using our A&I register, established through
14001 implementation and this is now managed via our
Environmental Management team who meet every 8 weeks.

The Big Dig
Phase 1 17 Staff volunteers bravely faced freezing wet conditions to undertake Phase 1 of the Big Dig. Phase 1 saw completion of a 22,000-litre pond, several large planters, summerhouse patio base and construction of insect / ladybird / bee homes, nesting boxes, wormery and a composter.

Phase 2 May 2011This phase saw staff members complete installation of summerhouse, pond marginal and aquatic planting plus herb and vegetable planting. Interior design of summerhouse and all that went along with that such as information signage, academic books etc .

Phase 3 June 2011
This phase completed the garden and we held an official opening ceremony. Parkhill Secondary School is for young people with additional support needs, which arise from factors linked to family circumstances, emotional and learning difficulties and health and disability including autism
spectrum disorders.
