NEPAL DARSHAN COMMUNITY BOARDING SCHOOL, GANGKHARKA: Pemba Nima Sherpa (9 y.o.) and Dawa Tshering Sherpa (6 y.o.) were born in India. Their mother died, father lives in India and works as a shopkeeper. They went to Panchayan School in Kathmandu for 4 years, but like Nepal Darshan Community Boarding School more. Sangey Shundup Lama (11 y.o.) and Pema Tsering Lama (10 y.o.) are from Tarkegyang village in Helambu region. They have one older sister. Their father is a shopkeeper in India, their mother is a housewife. Sangey Shundup suffers from meningitis, but doesn't take any medicine, because the family can't afford it. When he grows up, he wants to be a pilot, and his brother wants to be in the Indian army.

Lakpa Tshiring Lama (12 y.o.) and Ang Babu Lama (9 y.o.) are from Tchipleng village, one day walk from the school. Their parents work as farmers in the village. The boys have two older brothers. One of them is in Panchayan school where Lakpa Tshiring and Ang Babu spent six months before joining Nepal Darshan Community Boarding School. Lakpa Tschiring wants to be a singer when he grows up and Ang Babu wants to be an English teacher.

Sonu Lama (7 y.o.) is from Tchipleng village. He is the only child and his parents live in India. His father works there as a construction worker and his mother is a housewife. Sonu wants to be a national football player when he grows up.

Tshering Lama (15 y.o.) and Ranzing Lama (8 y.o.) are brothers. They come from Thalo village. Their father works as an artist and their mother lives and works in Israel. They have one sister. They spent one year in Panchayan School in Kathmandu but they prefer Nepal Darshan Community Boarding School. They both want to be artists when they grow up, just like their father.

Rigchen Lama (8 y.o.) and Lhachen Lama (7 y.o.) are from Chemmi village in Helambu region. Their father works as an artist in Pokhara, and their mother lives and works in Israel. The girls stayed in Panchayan School in Kathmandu for two years. When they grow up, Lhachen wants to be a dancer and Rigchen an eye doctor.

Ang Dolma Lama (9 y.o.) is from Menja village. Her dad is an artist and lives in the village, her mother works in Israel. Rohit Shrestha (8 y.o.) is from Thulopakhar village. He has two older sisters. His parents work in a carpet factory in Kathmandu. He attended in Panchayan School for two years. When he grows up, he wants to be a doctor.

Sunam Lama (10 y.o.) is from Jalsha village in Helambu region. His parents live in Kathmandu and work in a hotel. He has one older brother. Sunam likes music and wants to be a singer when he grows up.

Pema Dhundup Sherpa (9 y.o.) is from Pangdang village, one day walking distance from Gangkharka. His parents live in India, where his father works as a driver. He has a little sister who also lives in India. Before joining Nepal Darshan Community Boarding School, he spent one year in Panchayan School in Kathmandu. When he grows up, Pema Dhundup wants to be a badminton player.

Yanzing Sherpa (9 y.o.) and Nima Sanjey Sherpa (5 y.o.) are from Tatopani village. Their mother lives and works in Israel, their father works as a broker in the village. They have two brothers, of which one lives in India. When they grow up, Yanzing wants to be an English teacher and Nima Sanjey – a doctor.

The children spent one year in Panchayan School in Kathmandu before joining Nepal Darshan Community Boarding School. They both want to be teachers when they grow up.

Mingmar Sherpa (5 y.o.) is from Gangkharka village. His father works as a driver in Kathmandu. Mingmar has one older brother who studies in a monastery in Kathmandu. The boy spent one year in Panchayan School in Kathmandu before joining Nepal Darshan Community Boarding School. When he grows up, he wants to be a painter.

Kamala Tamang (10 y.o.), Bimala Tamang (12 y.o.) and Sunil Tamang (7 y.o.) come from Sindupalchok district. Their parents live in Kathmandu where their father works for Nepalese Army. The children like Nepal Darshan Community Boarding School a lot. When they grow up, Bimala wants to be a teacher and Kamala – a singer.

Amar Bahadur Tamang (9 y.o.) is from Taramarang village. His parents live with his little brother in the village where they work as farmers. His other older brother lives in Kathmandu. Amar Bahadur wants to be a trekking guide when he grows up.

Dawa Sherpa (8 y.o.) and Pema Sherpa (7 y.o.) are from Gangkharka village. Their parents are farmers. They have a little brother. The boys speak only Sherpa language and they will learn Nepali and English in Nepal Darshan Community Boarding School.

They come from a poor family, their father is a businessman and their mother is a housewife. They have one older brother who studies in a monastery in Boudnath. They also have four sisters. They love their new school. When they grow up, Norsang wants to be a doctor and Angtandi wants to be a pilot.

Sunita Sangbo Tamang (9 y.o.) is from Angry village in Sidupalchok district. Her parents work as farmers in the village. She has three brothers. In the future she wants to be a good teacher.

Amir Tamang (10 y.o.) and Anil Tamang (8 y.o.) are from Angry village in Sidupalchok district. Their parents work in the village as farmers. They have one younger sister. They also want to be teachers when they grow up.
