Instructions for ABC Identification Card Application

1. Electronically complete IdentoGo form which can be located on the NeptuneTownship website (Neptunepolice.org). Print out the completed form andschedule an appointment with IdentoGo to be fingerprinted. Instructions forscheduling an appointment with IdentoGo are on the form. This must bedone prior to submitting the ABC Application for Identification Card tothe Neptune Township Police Department.

Electronically complete the ABC Application for Identification Card whichcan be located on the Neptune Township website (Neptunepolice.org). Printout the completed ABC Application for Identification Card.

Call the Neptune Township Police Department at (732) 988-8000 Ext 427 toschedule an appointment to respond to the Neptune Township PoliceDepartment to process your application.

Once you receive an appointment date and time, arrive at the Neptune Township Police Department 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time. The application fee is $25 for an initial application and $10 for a renewal application. This can be money order, cash or check. Checks and money orders should be made payable to “Township of Neptune”. The following items must be completed and in your possession to turn in or review at this point in the process: A valid government identification, such as a driver’s license or passport, the completed ABC Application for Identification Card, your receipt from IdentoGo documenting that you were fingerprinted and the applicable payment. You will then be photographed for your ABC Identification Card.

A temporary card will be immediately issued after completing the above steps.

6.

Your permanent ABC Identification Card will be issued once your background check has been completed. You will be contacted by a member of the Neptune Township Police Department once your card has been finalized.
