POLIOMYELITIS

Is an acute viral

infection that commonly

affects the spinal cord.

It causes a major illness

resulting to serious

damage of certain nerve

cells controlling the

muscles, causing

paralysis.

the nerve. It may

caused not only

by infection, but

also by

poisoning,

alcoholism, or

Page 8: Nervous system disorders 2

MIGRAINE

Severe headache

that occurs from time

to time is sometimes

confined to only one

side of the head.

Page 9: Nervous system disorders 2

EPILEPSY

Is a disruption of

laceration

Page 12: Nervous system disorders 2

SKULL FRACTURE

Injury is often

caused by

accidents. It is not

serious by itself,

but injury to the

brain may result

Page 13: Nervous system disorders 2

CONCUSSION

Can cause

sufficient shock

to the brain can

produce

unconsciousness.
