ADO Event AggregationADO Event Aggregation enables the .NET Data Collector to generate only one node for all the calls thatare made to a database from an ASP.NET page. Event aggregation simplifies instance topology andreduces traffic to the Transaction Collector.

ADO Event Aggregation is enabled by default when you configure the .NET Data Collector.

Disabling ADO event aggregationWhen ADO event aggregation is enabled, and only the Profiler component is registered, nodes for thedatabase calls are not seen in the topology. Therefore, if only the Profiler component is enabled, youmust disable the ADO event aggregation.

Procedure1. Go to the CANDLE_HOME\TMAITM6\K4\config\ directory.2. Open the dotNetDcConfig.properties.inactive file.3. Change the value of the ktj_ADOAggregation.Enabled property to false.

Tip: You can change the value of the ktj_ADOAggregation.Enabled property by using the .NET DataCollector: Property Configuration window. For more information about the .NET Data Collector:Property Configuration window, see “Configuration parameters in the .NET Data Collector: PropertyConfiguration window” on page 10
