competing since March 28,

Nevada will finally be back in action

on Wednesday. Its last match

away was against Stanford on

March 24, in which the Wolf Pack

fell 5-2. The loss broke Nevadas

six-game winning streak. The Wolf

Pack will look to rally on the road

and not see the same fate Nevada

softball and womens tennis did

this past weekend away. Since its

loss to Stanford, the Silver and Blue

notched two wins against UC Davis

and UC Irvine on March 28.

THE SKINNY:The Wolf Pack is

looking to hop back on the winning

streak it saw in the matches from

March 14-28. Nevadas last twocompetitions have been losses. It

fell 5-1 to Grand Canyon and 6-1 at

San Diego State causing the Pack

against San Diego State came from

the team of Michelle Okhremchuk

and Sheila Morales in doubles

action as they topped Dora

Somoracz and Hailey Johnson

by a score of 8-2. In singles play,

the lone victory came from

Juliette Legendre as she defeated

Somoracz by a score of 6-4, 6-3.

THE SKINNY:It seemedas if softball finally found its

momentum after a three-game

sweep over New Mexico last

weekend. However, the Wolf

Pack saw a similar outcome at

its opening weekend against

UNLV back on March 21 after

San Diego State cruised past

Nevada in three straight games.

Hopefully Nevada will be able

to rebound when it returns

home, but it will have to find that

winning formula for away games

as well.
