On board the New Eurocar go Euro VI , the rea l innovat ion i s IVECO’s technolog ica l
know-how. The new Tector 5 and Tector 7 engines have two key strengths
at their disposal: flexibility and HI-eSCR technology.
The HI-eSCR cata ly t ic reduct ion system, covered by an FPT INDUSTRIAL patent ,
enables Eurocar go to meet Euro VI l imi ts wi thout recour se to EGR (exhaust gas
rec i rcu lat ion) . Th is i s one of the new features that set Eurocar go apar t f rom i t s
compet i tor s : a s ing le emiss ions abatement system that does not a f fect the combust ion
process , does not requ i re an aux i l i a r y cool ing system and does not impose constr a ints
on veh ic le arch i tecture or costs . A l l o f th i s t r ans la tes into fue l consumpt ion in l ine wi th
Euro V, and improved per formance compared with the prev ious-gener at ion eng ines .
The new technology represents a s ign i f i cant innovat ion wi th zero impact on eng ine
arch i tecture . What ’s more , the cons i s tent ly h igh torque va lues over a broad band of
eng ine speeds de l iver s a smooth r ide , fewer gear changes , less eng ine wear and better
ener gy e f f i c iency. Th is he lps meet the needs of even the most demanding customer s ,

Eurocar go ’s d iese l eng ines are turbochar ged Common Rail un i t s wi th waste-gate ,
and come in two d isp lacements (4 .5- l i t re 4-cy l inder and 6 .7- l i t re 6-cy l inder) and seven
power ratings ( f rom 160 to 320 HP, wi th maximum torque of 580 to 1 ,100 Nm).
Peak e f f i c iency i s reached with the «Top Power» 4-cy l inder, 210 HP eng ine , wi th
maximum torque of 750 Nm. Th is represents the idea l so lut ion for a mar ket segment
which , under Euro V, was covered by the 6-cy l inder, 220 HP eng ine , and which can
now benefi t f rom the lower fue l consumpt ion and lower weight of a 4-cy l inder eng ine
wi thout compromis ing on per formance and with an increase in maximum torque .
Thanks to the increased torque and power of the new eng ines , the new Eurocar go
Euro VI r ange can handle increased tr a i ler weights too. For 8- to 12-tonne ver s ions ,
t r a i ler weight r i ses f rom 16 ,500 kg to 18 ,000 kg , even wi th a 6-speed automated
gearbox ; and for ver s ions over 15 tonnes , i t increases f rom 32 ,500 kg to 35 ,000 kg .

Eurocar go 4x4 mounts a Tector 7 eng ine in 220 and 250 HP var iants on the 11 .5
tonne ver s ion , and 250 and 280 HP var iants on the 15 tonne ver s ion . The ZF s ix-speed
manua l gearboxes are f i t ted wi th a servoshift system for easy gear-chang ing even
