The overall investment philosophy of ACAP is based on capital preservation, competitive & sustainable returns as well as tailored asset diversification.Our investment philosophy is anchored on a deep understanding of the structure of the markets (either short or long term) and the financial instruments that match clients expectations in such markets. Our investment procedure begins with a client profiling process which provides a clear appreciation of the risk appetite and investment preference of the client.

We design a strategic asset allocation plan for individual clients and create a portfolio in line with the strategic asset allocation plan and investment policy. We adopt a value investing approach in a methodical and professional manner towards creating a portfolio that effectively

matches risk with return. We regularly review the portfolio with the client from time to time in line with investment management agreement.

Project Info: Alternative Capital Partners Limited acted as Financial Advisers for the divestment of Skye Bank Plc's controlling shareholding in Law Union and Rock Insurance Plc. The Consortium for the acquisition included ACAP IClass LLP, an insurance dedicated private fund managed by Alternative Capital Partners Limited.

Project Knightsbridge

Project Info: Luxury residential estate comprising a collection of 16 beautifully crafted homes in Banana Island, Ikoyi Lagos with a transaction value of N1.6 billion funded through the ACAP REN II. This project was over-subscribed and delivered both guaranteed and performance based returns on investment in excess of 33% over a period of 18 months.

Alternative Capital Partners acted as Principal Funding Partner for the development-to-sale of the Knightsbridge luxury homes in Banana Island, Lagos.

Project Berkshire 8 Project Information: A premium collection of 8 beautifully crafted homes in Victoria Island Lagos with a transaction value of N650 million funded through the ACAP REN I. This project was successfully concluded in 2012 with guaranty and

performance-based return on investment in excess of 33% delivered to investors over an 18-month period. Alternative Capital Partners acted as Principal Funding Partner for the development-to-sale of the Berkshire 8 Town Homes in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Oceanic Vintage Fund

Alternative Capital Partners Limited acquired the management interest and transfer of fund management role of Oceanic Vintage Fund, a Securities and Exchange Commission registered collective investment scheme listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange

Memorandum Quotation, previously managed by the defunct Oceanic Bank Plc. The Fund was subsequently renamed ACAP CanaryGrowth Fund.

Intercontinental Integrity Fund

Alternative Capital Partners Limited acquired the management interest and transfer of fund management role of Integrity Fund, a Securities and Exchange Commission registered collective investment scheme listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange Memorandum Quotation, from

Intercontinental Capital Markets Limited. The Intercontinental Integrity Fund was subsequently integrated into ACAP CanaryGrowth Fund.

BGL NUBIAN FUND

Alternative Capital Partners Limited took over the management interest and transfer of fund management role of BGL Nubian Fund previously managed by BGL Asset management Limited, a Securities and Exchange Commission registered collective investment scheme listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange Memorandum Quotation. The Fund has been renamed

ACAP Income Fund.

The Fund is now a discretionary money market savings platform that provides an alternative savings scheme for retail customers to invest their income. The portfolio consists mainly of discountable instruments, fixed income securities and other safe and guarantee-backed instruments. The principal and a minimum return are guaranteed by the Fund Manager for a client who look such investment for a minimum of 1 year.

Our PeopleRemi Babalola (B.Sc, MBF, FCIB, FCTI, FCA, FIoD, FWAII)Chairman/Chief Strategist

Remi Babalola served as a Finance Minister of State for Nigeria from July 2007 to August 2010. He simultaneously held the post of supervising Federal Capital Territory Minister in late 2008. Before his appointment to the Federal cabinet, he had extensive experience in the private sector at top management level most especially in banking, auditing, consulting and strategy.

He has both brain-on and hands-on experience in value creation, organizational renewal and leadership effectiveness. He is currently involved in development and infrastructure finance in West African sub-region.

He was on the Board of First Bank of Nigeria Plc, First Funds Limited and African Export Import Bank. He also set up the Remi Babalola Red Cross Clinic Initiative.

Tope Ashaju (B.Sc, MBA, ANIM, ACIP, FCS) Director

Tope Ashaju is an astute Investment Banker of repute with

over two and a half decades experience in capital raising,

financial advisory, mergers & acquisition and risk

management. He is an Alumnus of the University of Ado

Ekiti, Nigeria where he obtained B.Sc (Hons) in Banking &

Finance in 1989 and MBA in 1999. He is a Fellow of the

Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCIS); Associate, Abuja

Commodities Exchange (AACE); Member, Nigeria Institute of Management (MNIM),

Associate, Certified Pensions Institute (ACPI), among others.

He is the MD/CEO of Longterm Global Capital Limited, a reputable Issuing House

and Stockbroking firm duly registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission

and Licensed by the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He worked with Dominion Trust

Limited, an Issuing House and Stockbroking firm, from where he resigned as MD/CEO

after twenty years of meritorious service.

Ajibola Olayinka (B.Sc, ACTI, FCA) Director

H e w a s a f o r m e r C o m m e r c i a l D i r e c t o r , G l o b a c o m Operations (Nigeria, Benin and Ghana), Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, DN Meyer PLC (March 2004 – May 2010), former Executive Director, Honeywell Group. He later became MD/CEO, Skyview Estates Limited, a member Company of Honeywell Group. He has also held operational and leadership positions in numerous reputable organizations such as Lagos State Ministry of Finance, Treasury Division; KPMG Peat Marwick Ani Ogunde & Co as Senior Auditor; Arthur Andersen as Senior Consultant amongst others.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and also a member

of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, FATE Foundation Committee on

Entrepreneurship Awards, and also the Chairman of Logistics Committee, NES #9,

NES#10, Oil & Gas Downstream Seminar, Finance Committee/Member of the Nigeria

Economic Summit Group (NESG), Institute of Directors, amongst others.

Ariyo Okunsanya (LLB)

DirectorAriyo holds a Bachelor of Laws from Ogun State University, now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye. He qualified as legal practitioner after passing the professional course at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos. In addition he holds postgraduate qualification in Maritime and Commercial Law from Lagos State University, Lagos.

His over two-decade work career spans various fields of endeavour including legal and judicial practice, and human capital development.

He once served as Honourable Member of the Investments and Securities Tribunal, in the judicial trial of litigation arising from the Nigerian capital market and is an avid investor and enthusiastic entrepreneur who continues to set up his own concerns around his several business and development interest and passion.

Bola Olayinka possesses extensive professional experience of 26 years in the business terrain spanning: Auditing, accounting and business advisory consulting; Financial reporting and controls; Banking and financial services; Oil and Gas controllership; Real estate and construction; General and executive management; Change Management and Entrepreneurship.

Olabode Agunbiade (B.Sc, M.Sc, FCA,

ACCA) Director

Bode, an economist, an Associate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), is a management consultant with over 25 years professional experience in strategic planning, performance management, quality improvement, and human resources management, the bulk of which he garnered both in the private and public sectors within and outside the shores of Nigeria.

He was a Deputy Director and Special Assistant to a former Minister of State in the Federal Ministry of Finance. He is currently a Partner in ATACOFF Services LLP, a leading Accounting and Financial Advisory firm.

He holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State in 1985, where he was awarded the University Undergraduate Scholar and the Federal Republic of Nigeria Undergraduate Merit Award between 1982 and1985 based on academic excellence. He also obtained a M.Sc. degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan in 1987.

Adeyinka Adeniran (M.Sc, B.sc (Hons.))

Chief Operating Officer

Adeyinka is an astute Banker of repute with over one and half decades experience. His hands-on experience spans business development, client relationship management, portfolio management, credit analysis, foreign transaction management, among others. He worked briefly with First Bank of Nigeria Plc before joining Eko International Bank Plc (before it merged with other Banks to form Skye Bank Plc) and later Skye Bank Plc where he led various strategic branches of the Bank as Business Development Manager while at the same time leading the Bank's stock broking Business. He is versed in deploying proven business solutions in optimising business processes.

Until he joined Alternative Capital Partners, he was General Manager at a technology firm where he successfully superintended over Corporate Finance and Treasury functions.

He holds Masters and Bachelors (Hons.) of Science degrees in Chemistry from the University of

Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

He has attended numerous trainings chief amongst which are Treasury and foreign operations,

Fraud and Fraud Prevention and Senior Management Course at Lagos Business School.
